Rocky Homestay — Hotel in Karnataka

Stayed here for Holi 2022.

Location: It is situated in New Hampi, in a residential area with families staying around. Personally felt like I was staying in my grandparents house as the atmosphere was the same. The terrace at night is so beautiful.

Rooms: It is in the first floor and the family(owners) stay in the ground floor. The homestay(fully furnished) has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a living room with extra mattresses. It also has a dressing room in one bedroom which is really helpful for ladies. The bedrooms have AC's and the bathrooms have geysers.

Food: The owners provide all three meals upon request. The food is really delicious and inexpensive. 3 breakfasts, 2 dinners and multiple rounds of tea/coffee cost us around 580 per head.

Family: They are one of the most welcoming homestay owners I have ever met. They mingled with us instantly and always helped with anything we require. We felt like we were coming home every day after sightseeing and they were at the gate waving us goodbye when we left.

Overall: I personally do not have any negative points for the stay. Would recommend...

This place is situated about 3km from the Virupaksha Temple. About 10 km from Hospet city. Excellent place to stay. Very calm and serene. Has two air conditioned bedrooms and they are really spacious. Blankets are provided. It's very clean and well maintained. Hot water service and wifi are available. There is a washroom in each of the bedrooms. Apart from it, there is a common washroom too. The owner Rakesh is very helpful and friendly. He can arrange local transportation, guides etc on request and are chargeble. They also provide home made meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) on request. Food is just amazing and is not expensive. Family is really welcoming. It's like a home away from home. The couple go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We can get the view of Deccan plateau from the terrace. Locality is safe. We have stayed here for 1 night. Its located in a calm atmosphere.The host, Rocky,was very warm welcoming and approachable. The genuine care and attention to detail exhibited by the host were evident in every aspect of our stay. The comfortable accommodations were meticulously prepared, offering a cozy and inviting ambiance. Any requests or concerns we had were promptly addressed with a smile, creating a sense of ease and contentment. He made sure that we were at ease even when he was busy due to his personal reasons.
