Hotel India Palace — Hotel in Karol Bagh

Worst hotel experience! Can't imagine how OYO could have a hotel such as this in their list! I trusted OYO s reputation of providing clean hygienic accomodation and booked this hotel online but was sorely disappointed!The rooms were nowhere near the pictures shown online.I had booked two rooms for my family...Both of them were shabby,dirty,Dusty with torn tattered and patched up bed linens...I asked the hotel manager to allow me to take a look at the rooms before checking in but he refused saying the rooms were ok...so I checked in and paid a booking amount of Rs 1000...later when seeing the shabby conditions of the rooms and the very poor plumbing in the bathroom I wanted to check out the manager refused saying I have to pay one nights rent..called up OYO but to my dissapointment they were of no help ...so despite my reluctance I was forced to stay there one night and then check in to another very good hotel not owned by OYO nearby the next day....OYO should do some checking before listing these hotels in their name and warn the guest about the facilities available....I am truly and sorely...

I had recently visited Delhi for some work and i stayed in this Hotel for 2 days. I would say rooms are fine. You have the option to opt for a single bed or double bed room(single bed room will have less area but fine for bachelor visiting Delhi ) . Room service is fine( In fact that mid 50 room service man is way more talkative than you would expect normally ).

One problem is that they keep switching off ACs from time to time(whenever you leave the hotel they switch off the AC from the main switch so when you return to the room the remote won't switch on the AC and you will have to call the reception to switch it on) .Rest is good. The complementary breakfast (tea, 2 chapattis, curd and pickle ) is good(compared to what you get in Paharganj hotels ).

Note : You can leave your luggage if you have brought some in the hotel and they will take care of it till you return( can be used when you have to checkout at 12pm and you have to finish some work which will be over by 2pm. You won't have to carry the luggage with you. Take it from the hotel after winding...

fraud malayalam staffs when i first enquire, they told room is avaliable at 2000/-.. after a while kerala lady staff came and told us 4000/-. and scolded the other staff. we are also from kerala. and there are many other hotel nearby like bluebell, cpark etc with average charge with good facility. too bad experience with this indian palace. its our fault. we searched for kerala hotel to stay and reached indian palace. so friends... dont book this hotel. save ur money.. there r somany hotel around them just 1500-1800/- with...
