Worst Night. Worst Food. Worst Hospitality. Ever.
Iâve had better experiences at a railway platform dhaba than I did at Resaca, Karol Bagh. And thatâs saying something.
I went to attend a gig by Avinash Gupta, ticketed via BookMyShow â what unfolded was a horror show in three acts:
Act 1: The Great Standing Ovation We reached at 9 PM sharp (right on time) only to be told to wait because apparently being punctual is a crime here. Paid âš1000 cover charge per person for what? To stand on a rooftop like unwanted extras at a wedding. No seats. No management. Zero respect for paying customers. After a 30-minute argument, the manager reluctantly gave us one chair. One chair. For three people.
Act 2: The Vanishing Food Act Hungry and already seething, we ordered food around 9:45 PM hoping to salvage the night. It arrived at 10:30 PM. And it was cold, bland, and tasted like it was reheated leftovers from 2022. When we asked the staff about the delay, their response? Rudeness served hot. No apology, no solution â just blank stares and attitude.
Act 3: The âSilentâ Concert When the gig finally began at 10:35 PM, the sound system was so pathetic that unless you were in the first row breathing down the mic, you couldnât hear a damn thing. What kind of âlive music venueâ doesnât even have working speakers?
By 11 PM, we left â hungry, irritated, and completely scammed.
