I have been a loyal Bakingo customer for quite some time now, and as a working professional I’ve always chosen Bakingo for my friends and colleagues because they usually pay attention to personal requests. In fact, I’ve always appreciated how they operated — with a personal touch that made me come back again and again.
However, today’s experience has been nothing short of a disappointment. Last month, I had ordered a Trio Mousse Cake from the Karol Bagh branch, and I had specifically called them to ensure the cake was fresh and that cutlery was included since it was meant for a special office occasion. They not only delivered a fresh cake but also sent 4 spoons along, which left me very satisfied.
But today, for another special occasion, I ordered again — and what I received was shockingly careless. They sent just ONE knife, and when I called the branch to request the missing cutlery, the staff was extremely unprofessional. The person I spoke to outright dismissed me saying, “Swiggy walo se baat kro jaake.” Is this really the level of service a loyal customer should expect?
A brand that prides itself on customer connection should not allow such arrogance and negligence from its staff. If Bakingo cannot maintain consistency in something as basic as cutlery — especially when the customer has taken the time to call and request — then it really makes me question whether they value long-term customers at all.
