Just spent a month bouncing around Rajasthan, Varanasi, and Agra. ||I don't have many hotel recommendations to make, but the Hotel Silver Arc is the exception. Just 100 meters from the inexpensive, fast & comfortable Delhi Metro (Karol Bagh Station), that provides hassle free access to the entire city, and the Airport. ||The Hotel Silver Arc (www.hotelsilverarc.com) is inexpensive (~2000 R), clean, plenty of hot water, breakfast in your room, good WIFI, a real coffee shop just down the street, and a very helpful staff. The Karol Bagh neighborhood has plenty of non-tourist shopping and good restaurants too. ||One word of caution: ask for a room in the back, as there are a few car radio stalls next door and they love to demo the volume of their products, but they close up after 9pm....

The hotel is behind the Karol Bagh metro station in the market hence easily accessible and all the items of use are available near by. The loacation is best and is not very far from New Delhi railway station( accessible by Metro rail in 15 min). |The staff were polite and supportive. I had a family gathering and the staff cooperated vey well and I felt like almost my home. The hotel is old still the rooms and the bathroom are clean and spacious. The food is average but there are many restaurant in the vicinity of half kilometer.
