Bluebell Airport Hotel — Hotel in Kerala

Had booked two rooms with AC and breakfast + dinner

What I liked:

Each room has separate wifi port with its name inside room.

Budget pricing

Each room had some unique amenities which I would find rarely in budget hotels,  like book rack with some books, board game like chess and ludo, thread and needle for apparel adjustments, hair dryer etc.

Room names are based on flowers like lily, daisy,  daffodils etc. for a good vibe.

Quite near to Airport. Though cab charges 300-400 for dropping to hotel from airport but if you are traveling light you can just walk to hotel in 10 minutes or take auto from just outside airport across road in Rs 50.

Kettle for hot water or tea/coffee is provided with complimentary tea/coffee sachets.

Each rooms has window as a portal to outside or fresh air.

Away from main road or busy area so no outside noise as such.

Staff at hotel is quite helpful. (Vehicle from hotel can be arranged on payment)

Things that can be improved:

Even for a budget hotel, rooms are quite congested.

No in-house restaurant or kitchen. Breakfast and dinner facilities mentioned are to be ordered from outside.

While booking,  charges are 400-500 for Breakfast and dinner if included with room but here at hotel they specifically mention you can order upto Rs.120 for breakfast and Rs 250 for lunch/dinner if you have included breakfast/dinner in your booking and over and above has be paid additionally (Though ordered food was good in taste).

Facilities like tv are not recharged even after informing multiple time.

Standard double rooms with AC mention space of 225 sq ft, but it is hardly 100-125 sq ft which can look quite cramped if shared by two people.

Overall would surely recommend it if you are looking for budget hotel near airport with good...

Oh boy, the rooms are TINY, say max about 90 sq ft, excluding the toilet.||At Rs 1,400/- (Rupees One Thiusand and Four Hundred Only), per day, it is day light robbery, considering that i have stayed at their other and adjacent property by the name of Base 9, at lesser price n that too when they at Base 9 have a living room, a bedroom, a small balcony n a pantry..comprising a room. Blue Bell was a complete letdown at that price. Appropriate price for the tiny room at Blue Bell shd be in the region of Rs 500/- a day and at that rate too, i would not take it.||I booked there only because of proximity ti the airport but proximity to ariport does not mean a room as small as 90 sq feet n that may be if i am optimistic. Never again at Blue Bell||However, their employees r very well meaning n helpful. Shyam at the reception is very genuine n earnest in his approach. And a bell boy named Rajkumar of NE origin is very resourceful||Their kitchen, however is excellent in as much as it serves authentic north indian food, run by a well meaning soul by the name of Ankur. Poori Bhaaji as a breakfast is a must try, though the restaurant is ONLY VEG n therefore, i would have only breakfast from there||Regards||SHAJU...

Location - very near the kochi airport, they have a very efficient service of pickup and drop at ghe airport at a very reasonable rate.

The rooms though small are meticulously planned, keeping in mind a guests needs. An electric kettle with tea,coffee,sugar pouches and two cups to make your own cuppa. There is an electric iron in case anyone needs it specially on official tours. I was amazed to see a set of three small drawers containing thread, needle and buttons, stapler ,bandaid etc......how thoughtful. Set of clean towels of three different sizes along with toilettery. The bathroom is very clean equipped with a hair dryer and plug points for shaving equipment. The rooms are very very aesthetically decorated.

They don't have any in house restaurant, but they have placed menu cards from two restaurants who deliver food ordered within a reasonable time. The room provides cutlery with two plates and a bowl neatly packed with cling film to eat your food.

There is nothing negative about this hotel ,onthe contrary whatever i have written may be less than what they deserve and provide at a reasonable rate. Thank you blue bell airport hotel kochi. I forgot to mention the chess board to...
