This looked like a home converted into a hotel than a hotel itself. The room is spacious and well appointed and with balcony only for front facing rooms. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean, as it appeared to be a newly built hotel.||||Firstly, your phone do not catch network as this hotel is remotely located. So be prepared for that and let your family and friends know in advance that you will almost unreachable during your stay here. The WiFi network was only available in the public areas of the hotel. You will have to get out of the room to access internet.||||We traveled in the rainy season so you will have to be OK to take shower in luke warm water. The most annoying part of our stay was the food & service. The Hotel really need to look into changing the cooks in the kitchen. We were curious to experience local and authentic Kerala home style food only to our dismay that there was no local food available. The hotel did not even have the provision to provide us with a proper green salad. The salad we ordered came with just carrots and onion and did not even have cucumber in it. The upma that was served in the breakfast was uncooked, the chicken that was served was refrigerated for god knows how many days, it was hard and stale. The food they serve generally lack flavor or taste. The cook did not even know how to make Khichdi and was served with out curd, despite requesting for it. We addressed the food concerns during our check-out and it was funny, the receptionist waived off 30 rupees from the bill :)||We wanted to have a cold drink, which we carried with us and requested for the ice and the service staff said, there is no ice in the hotel. ||There is merely nothing in the vicinity of the hotel. To our surprise, even the TV provided in the room did not work. Unless you are stranded in the jungle and have no where to stay, I would not recommend this hotel...
