I would go back to this hotel anytime, if I have to. The property is a mini forest in itself surrounded by plants and trees, especially jack fruit trees which are so huge, with its fruits hanging , and some ever touching the ground. Each villa or room is separate from the other so it's like you have your own house and the rest of the guests are your neighbors. The rooms are clean, toilet too. In the room that we got which is deluxe, I think from 102, the drain is a little clogged, but hot shower is available, toiletries and room service. Bed and pillows are fluffy and very comfy too. Airconditioning is not needed due to the weather, it was 18 to 20 degrees, 21 degrees at noon. The property is well maintained, the lights around the property at night are all working as well. Food options are good, dishes taste good as well!||The receptionists were great, very hospitable and friendly, proud locals who are happy to make sure that their guests are comfortable, and happy! Hotel staff are friendly as well. All of them speak good English, some are not from Kerala but from other states. I would like to commend a staff named Santosh, from Darjeeling I believe, who delivered ripe and deseeded jack fruit to our room. This truly surprised me! I was asking him one time if they sell the fruit because I see many of it all over the resort, he said they don't as it is only used for cooking. I was so surprised when he delivered like a platter one evening! Fruit was deliciously sweet and juicy! Thank you Santosh for the extra mile service, and for correctly guessing that I am a Filipino, by my accent. Good job!| |At night, a campfire will be lit from 0730pm to 0830pm, and then again at 0930pm. We had dinner at about 0800pm and by the time we are done, the fire was also dying. . Still, me and my husband sat by the flickering fire, it was just the 2 of us by the campfire, when one hotel staff, started the fire again by splashing kerosene on the burning wood. We appreciate this gesture as well!||Going to the location for the first time is tricky, a little difficult in fact. The road is steep, some huge muddy potholes are there too due to some constructions going on, but in the hotel property itself, everything is smooth. ||I will go back there anytime! Munnar itself is quite pretty and the weather is very pleasant, cold. Misty Lake Resort is a very good...

If you're looking to disconnect from the chaos of city life and immerse yourself in nature, Misty Lake Resort is the perfect escape. Tucked away just 3 km from Munnar town, this resort offers a serene, green haven surrounded by lush trees, chirping birds, and misty mornings that feel straight out of a dream.
🌄 Location & Ambience The resort is nestled on a hillock, offering panoramic views of the valley and distant mountains. The early morning mist, the sound of birds, and the peaceful surroundings make it a rejuvenating experience. It’s a bit away from the town, but that’s exactly what makes it special for those seeking peace and quiet.
🏡 Accommodation We stayed in a cottage 2days that was beautifully designed with large windows letting in natural light and fresh air. Waking up to the sound of birds at 5:30 AM was magical. While the outer architecture is stunning, some rooms and washrooms could use a bit of maintenance to match the overall charm.
🍽️ Food Breakfast: Absolutely delicious! A great spread that caters to both South Indian and North Indian tastes. Other Meals: Tasty but limited in variety and served at fixed times. If you're craving local street food, you might need to rely on a taxi to town.
Note: The resort is planning to install air conditioning soon, which will be a great addition during warmer months.
👨👩👧👦 Staff & Service The staff here are the heart of the resort—always smiling, polite, and ready to help. From housekeeping to the kitchen team, everyone made our stay extra special.
🏞️ Nature & Activities The resort is surrounded by fruit trees, spice plants, and flowering shrubs. There’s a badminton court, a play area for kids, and plenty of walking paths to explore. It’s a great spot for birdwatching and photography too.

My stay at Misty Lake Resorts on September 2nd and 3rd was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking natural beauty.
The location of this resort is liitle outer from Munnar. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the serene, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The tranquility of the surroundings was a true blessing.
The accommodation was impresssive. My room was spacious, clean, and well decorated. The cozy bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the windows offered stunning views of the nature of surrounding mountains.
The resort's dining options were little different. You can choose their Buffet menu for dinner with Non-Veg options. Otherwise you can order it from their listed menu. I had tried both options for my 2 days stay. The first day with buffet menu costs 600 rs per person, I enjoyed it which notes as little expensive. The menu offered a variety of choices, and the food was consistently of high quality and good service also. the second we ordered chosen items from the menu, it was well satisfied which costs nearly 300 per person.
The advantage of the nature trails, which allowed me to immerse myself in the beautiful landscape and we taken a lot of photos with that. Additionally, and the well-maintained swimming pool was a great way to unwind.
Overall, my stay at Misty Lake Resorts was a blissful escape into nature's lap. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with memories I'll cherish for a lifetime. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Thank you, Misty Lake Resorts, for an unforgettable...
