Treebo Brahma, Wayanad — Hotel in Kerala

Hotel Treebo Brahma is located right in the heart of Sultan Bathery, making it convenient for travellers. Last Friday, we (a group of 12 people) booked 5 rooms for our stay. The property has been around for about five years and has been associated with Treebo for the past year. The pricing is economical, and the staff were polite throughout our stay. However, there were a few hiccups like one of the rooms lost power during the night. We were able to connect with the receptionist the next morning, and they responded promptly and restored power, but it was a disruption we didn’t expect. Additionally, the rooms were a bit smelly, probably due to the damp weather, which made the stay slightly uncomfortable.

The hotel is a modest four-storey building with around 15 rooms and very limited parking - about six cars can fit inside the premises, and a few can be parked outside on the road as well. A room dedicated for breakfast is set up in the parking area, but since the options were very limited, we decided to step outside and try the local cuisine instead. Interestingly, we were their last guests before the hotel was set to close for a month-long maintenance break, a much-needed pause, as a few areas could definitely use some upgrades. Stayed for 2 nights during Wayanad holiday in 'Oak' category room # 103. Amazing hotel ( currently under Treebo ) at great location & superb amenities like elegant furnishing, black-out curtains, O general powerful yet silent AC, 32" LCD with wide range of channels, Intercom, Electric Kettle, Writing desk & chair, 8" Comfy King Sized Bed with duvet, 24 Hrs hot rain shower & premium toiletries. Classy Sanitary fittings, wardrobe & luggage rack, bright LED lighting. Rooms are spacious & super clean. Their restaurant is closed since a year but the newly opened Ogusto Bakes & Cafe offering amazing food. A mini fridge can make stay more comfortable. The Staff is very friendly & always ready to assist. The only disappointment was the Complimentary Breakfast. It is not a Buffet spread. As their restaurant is closed, they simply arrange a single dish with a tea/coffee in paper cup. No choice offered to choose b'fast. The quantity isn't enough as well. On our day 1, we were offered Puri Bhaji & next day Set Dosa. Breakfast related info on Booking.com as well as Treebo portal is misleading, hence shared details above. Worst and horrible customer service. SEEMS the reviews are fakes and made by the hotels representative itself . At midnight we were outside the room and waiting for to clean the room by a roomboy who does know how to talk to people and he dont know even what is the Guest service all about . DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL YOU WILL REGRET. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER . Thomas he introduced himself as Hotel Manager with poor knowledge in serving customers really HORRIBLE personality which is not suitable at all for hospitality Industry. Doesn't understand customers needs. Even the manager Thomas behaviour is unacceptable and unsatisfactory he doesn't have the commonsense to deal with people .
