Raahat Inn Kodaikanal — Hotel in Kodaikanal

We have been a regular customer to this place. However, not sure whether the management has changed or not, the behaviour of the reception/ room service team is not acceptable.

1. When we asked for towel, he said check and tell sir. If available will give otherwise we are sorry. I asked what is this sir, when you alot a room you should give the toiletries and towels right, he replied stating "there is no such rule and we never mentioned it anywhere that it will be given"

2. We have taken the room during middle of the night (2am) and mentioned we need the rooms for two days and since this non peak time can you please allow us to check out on 15th around 11am. He said ok will manage it but on the day of check out while my other friends are ready and I was about to take bath, the same person called at 9.50am and asked to check out. I said i am about to go and take bath. But he continued the same check out rules and time (10am). I left in the next 15 mins and gave the key.

The attitude of the people at the stay is simply bad. I would never suggest Rahaat again to anyone. Poor hospitality though there is no guest in the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights ... We booked a deluxe room for Rs.2500 per night on 20/05/2022.the room was neat and tidy. Only problem was that the deluxe room had no windows... The room was totally closed and it felt a bit suffocating...after sunset too the rooms were very cold than outside..might be due to lack of windows... The pipes had hot water connection from 6-11am and 7-10pm.. the restrooms were neat and clean...they offered two clean towels and two medimix soaps for toiletries. the deluxe rooms were one floor below the check in desk...there was no network connection in our rooms and no wifi ...airtel network was at one or no bar ......wifi was available only in lobby ... You can order food from a nearby restaurant...they will door deliver the food...room service was quick ...overall a pleasantly stay...given below is the picture of view from lobby...the rooms are quite spacious to house one queen size bed and an extra bed , sofa and tea table and the room had TV too...this hotel had car parking and drivers accomodation was also given...but for a deluxe room with no windows ,2500 per night seems to be a...

You won't get the room you booked specially garden view is only for 2 room. All other rooms you will see next building or some dirty water flow from hotels. They won't give you proper service. Even you won't get hot water in night. Our family got food poisoning after having food from albaik near by restaurant. We have struggled in night without having hot water. Completely vomiting kid and family. They won't even get you medicines. They won't even get you a taxi to go hospital. Also don't take any tour package from this hotel. It's all 2000 RS extra from what you pay outside. So if you want a pleasant trip in kodaikanal don't stay here.. don't look for budget options. Don't eat meat from kodaikanal. The hotel is run by small kids. They don't know how to manage a hotel. Un...
