Golden Plaza Guest House — Hotel in Kolkata

I visited there in Kolkata on 22 August by reference. At the very first The receptionist told me we could provide you with a big room but when I entered the room the size made me shocked at how small the size was 6 × 6 @ 1000 Rs .I checked in at 11:00 a.m and after 2 days I had to check out at 11:15 and I got late by 15 minutes, and they charged 460 rupees penalty for late check out . They are showing me their policy but how they forgot to do clean and other room services policy . The dustbin was kept full and messy with a smell, no AC remote,no fan controller,dull lights, dustfull cupboard. Nobody came for room service from 2 days. When I tried to convince that lady she behaved & forced me to pay that amount otherwise she will get rude. They insisted that i have to pay the amount, and i accept if it is the hotel policy. But they told it in a rude way and behaved as if I was running away. Also the wifi did not work nor the tv had channels. Not worth the money.

One request to the owner please share the rules before checking especially late check out fees to new comers because all reviews are showing same problem what I have...

This hotel is worst i have ever seen..first all is ok.yesterday staff told us to give the key for parking problem.we given.2nd time also they taken keys for the same problem.bcz they dont have parking zone.so that is our problem as per guest house rules.they took our bike without our concern.how much clever they are..staff behavior was so much insulting.they are telling for parking is0sue they took our bike from one place to another but the fact is.after 1 hour we came down we did not see our bike.we ask the reception boy is socked.we waited for 30 min then they came manager and guest house one staff..they are very much ilmanner..we complain the owner...owner is protecting her staff.staff is saying we dont have this thus intention..bhai agar tumhe intrst nhi hain.to 1.30 hour se kidhar the...owner is saying..this is our fault we given...but when hotel staff is saying parking issue plz give the key for parking..thn what u ll do?worst guest house..this is my real ac..this is my mistake for i am giving review from the new ac..i dont have time for create a gmail for giving review ur...

Let me tell you this, you're gonna love it here. To tell you the truth I didn't have much expectation at the beginning, because yeah, I have stayed at OYO hotels before and let's just say, it was NOT a good experience. The hotel is brand new and the staff, oh my god, let me tell you this; you will not meet more wonderful and helpful people in your life. They are just amazing. Okay so moving over to other things, the room was perfect and even if it's a guest house, you have the full liberty to order something from the nearby restaurants which are like 2 steps away from the guest house. And know what? They even deliver it to your room. Hear ye, the folk who be travelling for Visa purposes, thee will find this to be tha's ideal hotel. I mean, guest house, with all the facilities of a hotel. The VFS is only a kilometer away from here. So, yeah, I enjoyed it here and I know you will too.|| P.S.: [There's...
