SK Lodge — Hotel in Krishnagiri

At 400 per person per night, this place is very affordable and a decent stopover if you're looking to just sleep and move on. The building itself is nice, however the rooms, the walls are stained and the bedsheets were stained though washed. Upon requesting though, they changed it to better bedsheets without any fuss. Mattresses are comfortable.

The rooms are spacious and have TV, cable, geyser and ac in case that is needed. They have their own protected parking space, and there's a tea shop right outside which opens at 4 am. There's also a nice eating joint at a minute of walking.

The best part of our stay here though was the water. Nice, very hot water for bath and somehow it was so refreshing that all of us took bath twice. Water quality somehow...

Bathrooms have open grills( Mosquito menace through the night). No dustbins or intercom in rooms. Bare basic rooms, cot with mattress and sheet. No towels/ soap. Place has proximity to highway, my reason for picking it up. Also Front office clerk was willing and accommodative, as against others. 2 stars for this approach at 2:30 am in the morning, when 4 others we stopped at were asleep, and looked at customers as an inconvenience than as guest. Toilet and bathroom were clean, basic. Hot water...

Worst maintenance. Bedbugs won't let you to sleep. Bedspreads and bedsheets are not changed after used by previous customers or even washed, not even changing the pillow covers, no wardrobe to keep things, Broken bathroom sanitary items. Overall i can give negative star. Not hygienic hotel. best stay away from this trap in the name of lodge....
