For the price which is being charged for 1 day, the room space was less. The mattress is good, and the furniture outside the room balcony can be improved for better. There were dust around, which needs more maintenance from hotel staff. There was spa which was 3rd party (Meghavi Spa) which is not good, but pricing wise high. The staff of Spa was more focused on membership than providing quality service. The room in Amanora was good and the bathroom was provided with towels and good quality soaps. Air-conditioning is less, hence they have provided ceiling fan to spread the cooling. Room service is delayed for couple of things. The place to dine was just 1 which is the only one near to hotel. This is huge space, but due to lack of sufficient revenue, the maintenance around the hotel inside and outside is less. landscape, fountains, walking area are not fully maintained. the lift is below average, the staff is juggling between multiple things. The complementary breakfast is having variety and good. The buffet lunch and ala carte dinner was good. But the place gets crowded. The service folks are having too many things and orders, hence at times, they delay in service. There are multiple events happening, so expect this place to be noisy. The live music was too noisy and they were not toning down volume despite request. This is incorrectly rated higher in MMT or Tripadvisor or any other portals, giving an impression of 5Star or 7Star but actually this is below 2 Stars. This has to be around 3.5* and not above in any portals. The swimming pool is used by members and outsiders membership and not exclusive to hotel. There are multiple events outside the rooms, which makes discomfort due to lack of one integrated place for hotel guests. There was no yoga mats when asked, they are showing gym mats. the lighting did not work in the meditation room they showed. The hotel staffer Ms Pradya Kadam, wanted to rate my feedback on my mobile, which I refused. It appears that multiple people's feedback was intentionally input as 5star by hotel staff to mislead the public, and thereby get bookings which is not professionalism and integrity of the business. The furniture in hotel restaurant furniture's are poorly maintained, mosquitos and flies need to have fumigation. I suggest visitors who are looking for staying in Pune to avoid this place, unless they improve quality of the hygine space both inside and outside hotel, provide more privacy space, adopt more professional approach to service, provide & maintain safety and hygine standards, create more exclusive facility for hotel guests instead of mixing with outsiders inside the premises and provide competitive rates for rooms and services. The location of the place is out of the city centers and not easily accessible to town centers. Mohan...
Read moreWe recently visited the Hotel Amanora - The Fern Ecotel for a day stay to celebrate our anniversary. Here's a breakdown of our experience:
Positives:
Beautiful Exterior: The hotel's exterior ambience is undeniably impressive. It creates a great first impression.
Excellent Service: The staff across all departments were exceptional. They were professional, friendly, and always available with a smile.
Spacious Suite: The Hazel suite itself is visually appealing, with balconies and a bathtub in the bathroom.
Great Breakfast Spread: The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options
Areas for Improvement:
Disappointing Decorations & Cake: The complimentary anniversary decorations and cake fell short of expectations. Balloons and rolled towels aren't quite romantic, and the cake quality seemed average. If a more elaborate setup is available for an additional fee, it would be helpful to know that upfront.
Limited Views & Soundproofing: The view from the suite wasn't ideal due to its lower height and a nearby wall blocking the vista. Additionally, the soundproofing wasn't great, as evidenced by the noise complaint at 10 pm when we were simply watching TV at a reasonable volume.
Small Bathtub: The bathtub was surprisingly small, making it unsuitable for a relaxing couples' soak.
No Rooftop Option: The lack of a rooftop restaurant or bar was a bit of a letdown for a special anniversary evening. Guests have to venture out for a romantic dinner.
Pricey Room Service: While the high room service menu prices were somewhat expected, the taste of the food wasn't exceptional for the cost.
Missing Valet Service: The absence of a valet parking system could be inconvenient for some guests.
Overall:
Our experience at Hotel Amanora was a mixed bag. The beautiful exterior, excellent service, and lovely breakfast buffet were definite highlights. However, the underwhelming decorations and cake, limited view, small bathtub, lack of a rooftop venue, and high-priced room service left us feeling the price wasn't quite justified for a day stay. While it might be suitable for a short visit, it didn't quite meet our expectations for a special...
Read moreBooked this place for a family gathering. Being an Amanora resident fetched a lucrative discount as well. Fern is pretty much a 5-star hotel with serenity all around.
To begin with services, we can always find staff on their toes & ready to help with almost everything within hotel limits. Chefs are damn good & they do take customized orders if pre-informed (occasionally adhocs as well). Location is highly secure as Amanora Security entertains no nuisance. Staff is versatile with spoken language choice to make customers feel at home & always remain within range for quick assistance (never invading privacy).
Speaking of rooms, all of them were extremely well maintained, be it linen, restrooms or even extras required for basic need. All the furniture & furnishings in the room were from leading world-class vendors. Room service or even their free breakfast were well organised and their WiFi was literally with rocketing speed (cousin had a seamless bridge call over VPN).
Their top-class infrastructure is soothing to eyes with elegant white and beige custom mix-ups. From reception couch to poolside benches to crockery to backside lawn to crescent bar, all highlighted class. The royal Roman infra foundation that architects thought of, has been eloquently executed. A high-end gym was still okay but a library with such grand collection of books made me awestruck. Their conference room were separate from work-along podiums.
And a farewell gift for entire family with best of wishes literally touched me and kinda inspired me to write up such a long post. It was worth an experience and people need to know the extravagance this hidden treasury beholds for you to explore. A must visit...
