Seven Sands Aura Villa — Hotel in Maharashtra

After the booking, we were instructed to lie to the security guard and say we were friends of the owner, as rentals are not allowed in that gated society. This was a red flag and should’ve been disclosed upfront.

The villa looked nothing like the pictures. It’s poorly maintained and outdated, with a long list of issues: Broken furniture, torn chairs and curtains, and stained sofas, Leaking taps, moldy pillows, and rust-stained, torn towels, Bedding was old and torn, Visible seepage on walls, Balcony was dirty, with soil-filled pots and cigarette butts even after cleaning Unusable AC remotes and barely warm water Swimming pool water was smelly and unclean, Wi-Fi was under 2 Mbps — unusable for work or calls, Some of the mirrors have permanent damage.

There was loud construction in the neighboring villa from 7 AM, which disturbed our sleep — and we were not informed about this in advance.

At check-in, I contacted the sales rep Bhakti, who was unhelpful and cold in her responses. It took over 3 hours, multiple calls, and intervention by Jitendra from operations to reach a 15% settlement or compensation on booking amount, which felt inadequate for the experience.

This property could be tolerable, but definitely not peaceful or worth the price. Seven Sands appears to be more focused on earning commissions than ensuring guest satisfaction or maintaining the villas they manage.

Manesh, the caretaker, was kind and helped us with multiple things during the stay. While he's clearly hardworking, he is not trained for this kind of hospitality work, and it’s not his fault. He did his best despite the circumstances.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Lonavala and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff who made us feel right at home.

The villa itself was stunning, with spacious rooms and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, and we had all the amenities we could ask for. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals.

One of the highlights of our stay was the bonfire that was specially arranged for us by the staff. It was a beautiful evening spent under the stars, gathered around the warm fire with friends and family. The staff even provided us with marshmallows to roast, which added to the fun.

Overall, I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Lonavala. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, and the bonfire was just one example of the thoughtful touches that made our trip...

The Aura Villa S1 is perfect for a big group getaway in Lonavala. Tucked away in a serene corner, it offers breathtaking views of the hillside and provides a cosy nook for unwinding. It has 4 spacious rooms, one large dining cum kitchen, a poolside and a garden that offers a canvas for every individual and group to have fun. Service is excellent and we were made to feel at home. Indoor games, free WIFI and a barbeque evening on demand (depending upon the number of people in the group) adds to complete the staycation...
