If you are below 40 and want to relax by having a time away home, away from the daily hassle of life in city, enjoy drinking without the fear of going back home, dance like a peacock whole night with loud music, chill and enjoy with friends to create memories ... PLEASE MIND THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR YOU.||||Here a detailed review of my experience on visiting this place with my friends.||||I had made the booking of my trip well in advance unfortunately it turned back to be an election weekend in Panvel and It was declared dry day, on arrival we were informed we will not be able to have our drinks outside in the lawn or inside the Resort and have to dink inside our room only ... (This could have been communicated to us well in advance)||||Room Service: as we were 10 we decided to take a AC Dormitory room, room was decent in size and also clean with 2 bathrooms inside(Room# 8 on the ground floor), 2 AC which automatically went off several times and had to call the reception to put it on, remote for the AC's were not shared, there was TV inside the room with cable connection, we did not use the TV as it was not needed ... there were 3 power outlets inside the room however only 1 was working, strange how would 10 people in a room charge their phone and other equipment's in one power plug, fortunately we had a spike guard with us that saved us, no fridge inside the room, as we carried soft drinks and juices with us had to keep it in the refrigerator at the mess/kitchen and had to go to the kitchen every time we needed anything.||||Also please make a note of these rules before visiting this (Boarding school)||1) Make sure you follow the timings for Breakfast/Dinner and go to sleep on time.||2) All doors and outlets of the lodge will be locked at 10:30 pm and no one is allowed outside the room, not even in the premises of the resort.||3) Swimming pool time is morning 10 am to 6 pm and no one is allowed to the pool outside the mentioned time.||4) Starters if needed please order whatever you need all together; no 2nd time order will be accepted ... Management is very rude.||5) Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner is only served in the dining area.||6) Staff and hotel management can enter your room any time without knocking, make sure you keep the room locked from inside.||||Food: food is very good lunch and dinner is authentic Malvani food which is fresh and taste really good, If you visit this place only for the food, please note there are several better options within the City itself.||||Playing music inside the room is not allowed you will experience the management coming to you room very frequent asking to lower the volume...||||Swimming Pool: pool is very dirty as if the water hasn't been cleaned for ages, also there is no filtering system "didn't find any working", even the level of the water was very low, changing room and shower facility was pathetic and unhygienic.||||Overall only visit this place if you are aware of the strict rules of the "so called Lodge" and agree to adhere to the same, also this place is very far from the city please check out for better options close by or will spend most of your time...
Read moreLet's talk about the good stuff first. ||The primary reason for visiting this resort is the location. Not very far from the main attraction(5 min walk) i.e. Kelwa beach. It is situated between private farms and other private properties, making it a nice and quiet place. If a peaceful weekend away from the city chaos is what your looking for then this is the place.||This is a budget hotel with the charge including your lunch, dinner and breakfast. ||They have 2 different checkins and checkouts which is a good option to have.||The place is really clean and the staff is also courteous(except of few incidents which is not beyond normal).||The food is really great especially if you have Non Veg on your mind. The non veg menu will be limited in the buffet but the dishes will be good is almost a guarantee. The veg spread is also good and offers more options. ||We stayed in the deluxe rooms, which were really clean and were very spacious, unlike most resorts that we visit, thumbs up for that.||||Lets talk about areas of improvement.||The management can be a little stiff with adherence to rules, which makes sense but families or groups, people are there to let loose a little and that's the service which they should provide.||Yes loud music inside or outside the room will be frowned upon and other than the manager, I don't think anyone else is bothered. Being a secluded resort right by the inner village, this shouldn't be a major issue, they can easily accommodate a part of the resort specially for this.||The swimming pool was clean and was well maintained, but it had strict hours, which could be relaxed.||The food is fantastic to say the least, and this can be expanded upon with having a variety of options in the menu other than the buffet. ||The place is easy to reach but the roads are in pretty bad shape leading up to the property, this should be improved upon.||||Overall this place is good for a weekend break for families, I don't see groups having a lot of fun here, they should explore other...
Read moreThe GC members of IASAP (Indian Association of Secretaries & Administrative Professionals identified YA NIVANT RESORT for our Annual Educational Tour. On arrival we were welcomed with a chill glass of lemonade to quench our thirst. This was followed by breakfast which was delicious. The resort is located near the beautiful Kelve beach, which is a 10-minute walk from the property. The resort has a swimming pool, a children's play area, and a restaurant that serves local and continental cuisine. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service is prompt. The food is delicious, especially the seafood and rice bhakari. The resort is a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay near the beach. In fact on that day a big group of men - senior citizens had come to celebrate their GOLDEN JUBILEE of completion of their school days , a reunion! Wow! They chose the property for its...
