Raj Resort Kelve Beach — Hotel in Maharashtra

Me n my friends visited this place on 7th of May. We had opted for 24hrs package. When we visited there cook gave us not so warm welcome. But when the Rohit, (host/owner) came to see us, he made sure we get the best possible service. We did not even complain abt the cook to him but still he instructed the cook to always take our opinion before lunch/dinner/breakfast. After that even cook used to behave really nicely with us (he wasn't bad anyways).||||Rooms: really specious with a 8×8 size bed. Had a small wardrobe next to it. 21 inch LED tv with all cable channels. Bathrooms were too clean to our surprise, i said surprise cos in one of the reviews we could see really dirty one, m sure that's a fake review by some hater or a local who is making losses due to this newly opened resort. Really good fitting in bathroom, and hygiene level is maintained. Rooms have big French windows. Air-conditioning is also proper. But this place comes under Maharashtra State Electricity Board,famous for load-shedding so if there is no electricity, AC n tv wont function, n we really can't blame Resort management for this cos on Generator they can only power fans n lights in 8 of their rooms.||||Surrounding: it has nice dining area. Which is in the corner of a well maintained lawn. You can see a small vegetable farm from your rooms.||Place is on 15mins walk from the beach.||||||Overall nice place for couples/friends/families as you get nice treatment by the host himself who is actually really young for the job but does it with great maturity. ||||||Once all of us forgot to bring our wallet when we visited the beach, we just gave a call to rohit asking him to send some bottled water, fella came own his own bought the bottles for. Also asked if we need some cash with us to spend at beach. Ya i know we were gonna returne the money any which way but he went a extra mile there to serve his guests.||||Take my word n visit the place n you'll not regret...

How to reach from Dadar by Train?||Churchgate to Dahanu Road Fast local or Dadar to Dahanu Road local. Journey time from Dadar to Kelva Road Station would take approximately 80 minutes.||How to reach Raj Resort from Kelwa Road Station?||Share autos available from station who charge 150/- for 9 people. Otherwise State run buses are also available. Stop name is Raj Resort||Things to Do:-||Kelwa Beach is 2 kilometers from Raj resort. This beach is similar to Diveagar beach located in Shrivardhan Taluka, Raigad district. This is not so aggressive alike Ganpatipule or Harihareshwar beaches. Camel rides available for 25/- per person||Kelwa Temple is also located near to Beach||Raj Resort Swimming Pool available with slide and water is clean and crystal clear||Kids entertainment like slides, swings, badminton, cycling also available||||Food:-||Package is all inclusive of Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast and Tea. They charge 1200/- per person.||Menu what we availed:-||Lunch (Non Veg) : Prawns Malwani, Chicken Sukha, Bakri, Rice, Daal||Dinner (Veg) : Rice, Paratha, Chicken Curry, Chicken Pakora, Ice cream||Vegetarians would get Paneer and Vegetables very well cooked and food is unlimited. They offer food with good quantity and lot of affection. Room service is available. You can enjoy the evenings on lawns or personal rooms. They allow music, jamming, badminton, cycling. One of the best resort (Raj Resort) I have visited on 12/29 & 12/30. Owner (Rohit) and Manager were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort and beach is just 10-15 min walking distance from the resort.

Most importantly, Kelva Gram panchayat charging Rs. 5/- for entering to the beach to maintain the cleanliness (Have noticed that some ladies were appointed, in order to keep the beach clean)

If someone wants to visit the temple then they could directly walk down along the beachside path and reach the temple within 1 minute.

Raj Resort, Kelwa beach & Sheetla Mata Mandir is a very good place to relax and chill. Raj resort's scenery is beautiful and it is a relief to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. I must say the location of the resort is one of the best place of Kelva.

Our stay at the hotel was just for one day one night. Owner Rohit & Raj resort made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. All respect for him who does a great job here. Excellent...
