Terrible experience here. There is a list of issues with this hotel and I won't recommend it to anyone because of their ridiculous and bizarre policies which you'll rarely hear about at any other hotels which charge you so much for providing so less. Booked a stay for 3 nights and was left disappointed by the overall experience.
Super slow service. They leave your luggage unattended when you check-in and don't send it to your room even after asking them to do it explicitly. Slow service for any thing you ask for. No duplicate key card when more than 1 guest is staying and one key card is needed to keep the room electricity working. So, if one guest goes out, they need to request the hotel staff everytime to use the lift and go to their room (the lift needs keycard to go to the floors with rooms). TV is basic cable TV and you can't use any OTT apps (which even Airbnbs provide these days) Room is very small and bathroom is also just satisfactory.
And now, the worst thing was that they charged an extra Rs. 5000 for a stain on the bed sheet, which was washable?! They are basically looting customers at this point. When we said that this is easily washable, the receptionist says "But the integrity of the cloth will be lost". Is he serious? Had to leave in an urgency and didn't have time to argue much so I paid but this was super terrible. How can you charge Rs. 5000 for a stain which is washable?? No hotel I have stayed in has ever done this. You can't know what they will charge you for since their policies are nowhere written explicitly or in plain sight, so better stay away from this hotel (my per night charge was Rs. 4500 and after 3 nights they charged 5000 extra for just the linen, which is extremely exorbitant and more than the per night charge) I wonder how many lakhs will they charge if, God forbid, I broke a drinking cup or...
Read moreI just had the pleasure of staying in the "Royal Hometel Suites," and the entire experience was delightful. This undiscovered treasure tucked away in the middle of the city really beyond my expectations, providing an incredibly royal experience that really amazed me. A sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere welcomed me as soon as I entered the foyer. The Royal Hometel Suites staff's immaculate manners and meticulous attention to detail set the tone for my stay. Everything about the check-in procedure went well, and the staff treated me with true friendliness. The apartment itself was really opulent. It was roomy, well decorated, and immaculately maintained; it truly felt like home. Outstanding recreational amenities are another feature of the Royal Hometel Suites. The spa offered a peaceful haven, and the exercise facility is well-equipped. The rooftop pool had great city views, making it the ideal place to unwind. But the great service is what really makes this hotel stand out. To make your stay unforgettable, the team goes above and beyond anticipating your requirements. Whether organizing transportation, providing local suggestions, or simply delivering a nice conversation, the quality of service at the Royal Hometel Suites is unrivaled. The facilities and style of the accommodation were really well thought out, exhibiting the ideal balance of contemporary conveniences and vintage charm. The luxurious linen made for a comfortable night's sleep, and the in-room amenities were excellent. A must-visit stay for all those nature-lovers and...
Read moreFirstly, entry and exit to the hotel is located on wrong sides which makes getting in and out difficult considering the oncoming Mumbai traffic. The hand wash was empty and the dispenser broken, the kettle in the room had particles stuck inside and was unusable. Complimentary mineral water(bisleri) not provided instead 2 bottle of filter water is kept (wonder why we are sick after returning from Bombay?). The shower cubicle is so small it can only fit children ! Grown ups have to somehow manage by exiting the way you enter, LOL !!! Moreover, the drain was clogged and water was overflowing. While clearing it the maintenance staff realised a CUP being there under the drain sink (previous unhappy guest?) To add to it, they have a NO VISITORS policy, making it a hostel and not hotel. Also one of the elevators will be shut off and you end up waiting a long time for the one thats being used by everyone. Second day we shifted to a suite (as the other room was so small like a pigeon hole. Suffocating) and we realised, they charge extra for a double bed !!! None of the 4 or 5 star hotels, ateast the ones we have stated charge differently. The charges are same for twin or double bed. Suite room was horribly noisy during the day and night due to road facing balcony. No spoon or stirrer kept with tea/coffee maker, no hand towels placed in the room, no spoon provided with tea ordered in room. The washroom in the suite is of the same size as the lower category room. The aloo bhaji given with masala dosa and poori bhaji were absolutely tasteless, potatoes...
