I've done my junior and senior college from here, and these are my honest, unbiased reviews: -Overall: The college infrastructure, library, sport facilities, clubs, practical's department are all really good and accessible, just like what these other Google reviews say. -Junior College (Science): Most of the science field junior college professors are very rude. They humiliate and ridicule students, a behaviour which is least expected by professors of a reputed college. A few physics and chemistry professors make derogatory remarks and i, personally had to put up with it. Some students do mischief and they must be dealt strictly, i agree on that too, but it seemed humiliating students had become a part of their behaviour. However there are some really good professors in the English, Math and Hindi department. -The staff: Some of the college head staff has extreme favouritism, and they themselves are aware of this type of their behaviour. I would name, Professor Maleka of Physics department, is a really unapproachable person. She humiliates, derogates and disrespects students as well as parents. For most office work, she is somehow involved and is the most unpleasant person i or any other student would wish to deal with. And this isn't just my opinion. Apart from students she handpicks to be good to, all other students have the same remark on her as i do. In my 5 years of being in this college, she somehow has made sure she wouldn't rectify that unacceptable behaviour regardless of the complains we'd make about her. She'd make parents and students wait for endless amount of time for a certain small work. My parents had to go through that humiliation as well. Most parents hold up their anger because she would literally take it out on the student during the semester year. This might seem like i have a grudge on her but I'm writing this review because even after I'm done with my bachelor's from here, i still need to run roundabouts to the office to get my marksheet and still need to deal with her. -About the senior college: The senior college professors and staff members are really good. I don't regret doing my bachelor's from here as the curriculum is from MU and the subject matter was well explained by the professors.
Bottom line: Providing good academic knowledge isn't enough. The staff and teachers must understand that if they expect respect from students, they should respect students as well. If students are required to become disciplined, and behave in a mannered way, the staff and Professors must also fix their attitude towards situations and deal with them rationally without involving...
Read more🔹 Review for B.Ed Section In the B.Ed section, favoritism is clearly visible. Only those students who always agree with the teacher and say “yes” to everything are rewarded with good marks in internal exams. Students who dare to think independently, share different opinions, or question the teacher’s approach are often marked poorly. This discourages originality and critical thinking — qualities that should actually be nurtured in future educators. A teacher-training course should promote open discussion, not punish independent thought.
🔹 Review for the College The college needs to seriously work on improving its evaluation standards and attitude toward students’ opinions. Marks should reflect performance, not personal agreement with the faculty. A fair, transparent, and encouraging environment is essential if the institution truly wants to produce competent and confident teachers. Respecting diverse thoughts and giving equal opportunities to all students is the minimum expectation from any educational...
Read moreThe environment is not conducive to independent thinking or academic growth. Students are often expected to blindly follow instructions of Teachers without exploring own Ideas and own judgment or creativity. Rather than encouraging critical thinking, the approach feels more like being a “yes person” to the teachers.
Faculty and administration, including the principal, are generally non-cooperative and unapproachable. Constructive feedback is rarely welcomed, and genuine concerns are often ignored or dismissed. Unfortunately, misleading or false promises made during the admission process also added to the frustration.
Overall, if you are looking for a place that values student voice, independent learning, and supportive mentorship, I would not recommend this institution for your...
