Avirahi Hotel — Hotel in Mumbai

The hotel is right next to kandivali railway station. So u can hear the sound of trains every 2 mins . The rooms are ok at best . Found alcohol bottles on the cupboard and tobacco packets behind the night stands which suggest they don't thoroughly clean the rooms . The bedsheets were stained . Could hear noises from the other rooms and reception area all day . The ac was leaking water and not cooling . Waking up in the morning we were walking in a water pool . The flushes are machine operated so they make a loud sound everytime you flush . The pillows stink. And to make things worse the reception staff is so RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL AND ILL-MANNERED . The hotel is situated in a very crowded place right next to Kandivali Station(check photo). The hotel has no parking facility and the entrance is very shady. Once you get to the floor of the hotel things seem a bit better.

The rooms are decent but do not have a single window in the super Deluxe room. Also, there is a continuous sound of trains as the hotel is right next to the railway station. The geyser wasn't working. They spent almost half an hour in the room before the geyser was working and I could use the washroom.

First experience ever with this hotel. Coming from USA and finding the best facility within the suburbs like Kandivali was unexpected. The whole team was above and beyond with excellent service. No doubt about it.

Very caring especially when they know their guest is new to this environment. Mr Fiaz and all the mgmt were great to me. Making sure I am ready for breakfast, and worries about my where about.
