I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Golden Crown, and my overall experience was a mixed bag. While the hotel had some positive aspects, there were also a few areas that left room for improvement.
Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location was quite convenient, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions and public transportation. This made it convenient for exploring the city and enjoying its vibrant offerings. Additionally, the hotel's exterior had a visually appealing presence, showcasing a grand entrance and a well-maintained facade.
The hotel's staff members were generally friendly and polite, although the level of service varied. Some staff members went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, providing helpful recommendations and promptly addressing any concerns. However, there were instances where the service fell short, with staff appearing indifferent or slow to respond to requests.
In terms of accommodations, the rooms at the Hotel Golden Crown were decent but lacked the wow factor. The cleanliness was satisfactory, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. However, the decor and furnishings felt somewhat dated, giving the rooms a slightly worn-out appearance. The amenities provided were basic, and some guests may find the lack of modern amenities disappointing.
The hotel's dining options left much to be desired. The on-site restaurant offered a limited menu, and the quality of the food was average at best. The breakfast buffet lacked variety and innovation, making it a forgettable dining experience. It would be beneficial for the hotel to focus on enhancing the quality and diversity of their culinary offerings to provide a more satisfying dining experience for guests.
One area where the Hotel Golden Crown stood out was its range of facilities. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing guests to maintain their exercise routines during their stay. The spa services provided a decent selection of treatments, although some guests may find the prices to be on the higher side. The business facilities were functional, offering suitable spaces for meetings and conferences.
However, one notable downside was the lack of attention to maintenance throughout the hotel. I noticed signs of wear and tear in various areas, including chipped paint, broken fixtures, and outdated furniture. These issues gave the impression that the hotel was not investing enough in maintaining its infrastructure, which affected the overall impression and comfort of the guests.
In conclusion, the Hotel Golden Crown offered a mixed experience. While it had a convenient location, friendly staff, and satisfactory accommodations, there were areas that need improvement, such as the dated decor, limited dining options, and lack of attention to maintenance. For travelers seeking a reliable and convenient stay, this hotel might suffice. However, those seeking a truly exceptional experience may want to explore other options...

I was tricked by auto rickshaw man who is involved in conspiracy of hotel owner.
I asked rickshaw guy for room between ₹1000 - ₹1500 per night but he drop me at this hotel.
When I asked for room prices it is ₹3499 per night AC room which I asked I might need for 4 days but not assured if I can continue so we mutually agreed on ₹2000 per night which is still high and expensive as per my experience of two days stay.
They allotted me a room at ground floor where painting and repairing work in progress at opposite room and paint job is done recently so it smells really bad my head is keep spining and it hard to breathe inside as there is no window in room also landline phone was dead so I have to go to reception each and every time for any requirement.
They asked me to turn on AC and fan to get rid of paint smell, so it will be fine but no impact and I request for room change but they asked me to wait until 12pm-1pm if someone check out and availablity of rooms than they can shift me.
After passing those tough hours from 08:00am to 1:00pm they shifted me to a room at 1st floor and that was okay.
Hot water is available for bath. No dustbin provided. TV and AC was working. Only one blanket provided for 2 adults, after request they changed it with double bed blanket but it was wet. Windows are covered with nearby construction so no air and view.
It was hard to pass 2 days so I decided to check out but the person on reception asked me to pay ₹500 extra because I am leaving early as I promised to stay for 4 days that's why he provided room ₹2000 per night which is unexpected. After argument and request he let me go as I have to catch flight.
The hotel is located in very dirty area. There is fish and non-veg shops which smell horrible.
Not recommended for family, couple or group of friends.
