The Caliph Hotel — Hotel in Mumbai

It was my 2nd time I was staying in this hotel for 5 days....rooms and others facilities are standard....but their hospitality is like 5 star hotels....all staffs are very professional....they are very humble..... I must mention the name of one front office staff Mr. SUDHIR....I noticed this man was assisting their guests every time with extreme care.....he is really very sincere at his work....

Another name I should mention is of Mr. PANDURANG from housekeeping department.....I must say He is a great asset of the hotel.... one day it was dinner time...and my nail got broken badly....i needed to cut that immediately....so i asked this gentleman for a nail cutter.....understanding my situation he himself went out to buy a nail cutter for me as it was not there in the hotel.....I am really grateful to him for helping me out even if he had to go on an extra mile.... He really deserves to be appreciated for his superb hospitality towards the guests....

And all other housekeeping and F&B Service staffs were also very good.....all of them were very humble......specially Mr. ARTIAS and the other gentleman whose name i don't know unfortunately.....they both were working with extreme patience and sincerity...

And a special thanks to both the security staffs....

So Congratulations Click Caliph Hotel.....you have a bunch of sincere and hospitable staffs in your...

Excellent place to host an event nearby and settle your guests in this place. With 60 comfortable rooms with 1 suite room each floor (8 rooms) have spacious delux rooms with modern amenities and excellent support staff. we blocked 20 rooms for marraige function palned within 1 km distance and was very convinient and reasonable in Powai/Chandivali area. 2/3 Banquet halls are within 2 kms from here. The Manager & F&B Manager to name Mr Raj & Mr Sameer were very helpful in personally taking care of the Marraige party for full 2 days morning to late night. They have a small Banquet hall for small group function accomodating 100 people. They were very meticulous in planning and had served excellent food in our eve-party. The room par se I personnaly felt is quite big and spacious compared to other hotels near by like Fern/Bettle/Rodas... Food was execellent for normal buffet and our party. They support for any thing you want as they dont have a bar. We were fully satisfied with hospitality comfort and freness in utilizing this property . Even the security guards help in any...

This was the first time ever when the receptionist took an offence when I took two photographs of the reception! So, welcome home!

The room was surprisingly larger than what I thought. Lifts could be cleaner.

The room service was quick. They served a pathetic soup and worst ever (they were tough to cut and dry from inside) gulab jamun I could have imagined. When I complained, they said that there was nothing wrong with them!! I was offered butter scotch ice cream as replacement when I put my foot down. Every other dish that I requested for was unavailable for some reason.

View from the balcony was okay. Some greenery and the far-off lake was visible faintly.

Shower head needs cleaning. Geyser may/may not be in a mood to give warm water. Be careful.

Breakfast on 1st floor was pretty good. The dhokla is worth a mention. The glaring difference in how Indians don't matter when foreigners are around could be witnessed. The staff was around to woo them while Indians were not even greeted!!! Shame.
