OYO Hotel Sunny International — Hotel in Nagpur

It is really good hotel specially for family. I checked in here for two days on 19 the June. I had attend my cousin's​ marriage. I got doubtful after reading few negative reviews hence I decided to confirm the booking only after arriving at the hotel and cancelled the advance online booking. After arriving at railway station I found that no autowala was interested I taking passenger to sunny hotel. They misguided and insisted for other hotels of their lists like Dwarka,Kamal and vrundavan. But I was firm on checkin for sunny international first. Later I came to know these autowalas do not get commission from hotel sunny. It is obvious that if the hotel management is genuinely good, they will not entertain any such commission to autowala. More than my expectations, the hotel manager Mr Ravi was very polite and Cooperative person. He was flexible in terms and conditions for guest policies. My family members were arriving for the same purpose from different cities and different time. the manger was very cooperative to resolve the accommodation of guests. Other hotels charge tarif as per guest. But considering my tight budget he allowed extra guest in the same room. That way it became very convinient for me to accommodate my parents in my room. The rooms are bit older look but very very spacious. You will feel like you are in the living room of your house. Also sufficient furniture and spacious bathroom with hot water from morning​ to night. No issues with housekeeping, wifi, tv and ac. But yes the ac does make some sound which can be disturbing initially. Staff is attentive and place is hygenic. The only problem is you have yo order food from outside restaurants. However the breakfast is complementary and more like homemade food like idlis, parathas, upma etc. Since the place is in market area it is very close to sitaburdi, eternity mall, big Bazar,variety Chowk and my favorite huldiram sweets and restaurants. So location is very convinient for through out the day trip. The only minus point is you won't get good view from Windows as the hotel is very close to main road. I have no words for hospitality​ of the manager and staff for arranging cab for me to go to station after check out. at the end of the day it was me my son, my sister and my nephew finally checking out. We were running late and had to reach station earliest. The way the the guard and manager helped me to get reasonable vehicle is apreciable. Had to go with 1 star rating since TripAdvisor doesn’t have option of rating in minus. ||They should rename the place as Hell in Heaven. ||What happened with me here I pray that they doesn’t repeat it with someone else. ||||Reached the place by 7 with a friend whom I met after a long time and ordered a starter and a pasta. First order came after half an hour still we didn’t mind. Pasta came 10 mins after that and surprisingly there was no pasta in the pasta. They gave us a sticky half cooked spaghetti. Still I ignored since my objective was to spend gud time and not eat a meal. ||||Once we finished the meal and we were discussing something important without asking the waiter came up with bill. When I asked what’s so hurry I might have ordered a desert. To which the guys says since it’s a weekend we have to move the guests fast. I was a bit shocked by the reply. Still ignored and paid the bill after 15 mins. ||||When I was just about to finish my discussion the guy strikes back with bill receipt and he literally pulled away a chair and asked us that we should leave. That was the worst experience I ever had in a Hotel. When confronted him tht is he gonna throw us out, he said the management has asked him to be this way on weekends. ||||We called the manager and explained him wot just happened. To our surprise he also agreed tht weekend we have to be strict. So is this a hotel from service industry where they are to serve the customers or this is a Hotel from some school where they take money from customers and in return they behave strictly with them. ||||The manager only said tht the waiter should not have pulled the chair. But neither he nor the waiter said sorry for the same. Instead the waiter was smiling while I was talking to manager. ||||So guys if u wish to visit this place kindly order, eat and leave immediately. Else they will teach u a lesson in front of other guests. ||||And I am not going to stop just by putting a review on TripAdvisor. Well it has the potential, in terms of location, size and infrastructure.... But currently all that is in shambles. Its is just a low cost stay currently with a skeletal or minimalist services and infra. Only positive being the location, being bang opp. big bazaar at Dhantoli. The rooms are dusty, the staircase is in shambles, there is almost no service.. Or hotel staff to provide one. Lets just not talk about the food... They say they are serving complimentary breakfast, which is nothing more than poha, idly and vada. ...purchased from roadside 'tapri'. They have a small one mane kitchen, which delves out egg preparations and tea at intervals of 30-45 min. The dinner and lunch would be provided from Singh's which is a small eatery located opposite.
