I went today on 15 November 2024. I am a regular visitor here and am giving this review after collective experience of the food and service. I would like to share some points for why I have rated it 1/5 stars!!
At the entry itself you are judged from your clothes and accordingly you are allocated the sofa seats or the middle chairs. So, pathetic that on big sofa sets only two people sat just bcoz they were rich (date 15/11/2024, time 2:30pm to 4pm)
There's no queue management at the billing/order counter. Customers just gather and quarrel among eachother while the staff just takes the order of the one who speaks loudest. Can't do the same so had to wait till there's space!
There is some internal machine or human error that the orders get jumbled and the staff keeps on roaming with food. Don't understand why they ask us to put the order no board on table?
Customers are asked to pay money and order at billing counter but for some customers the staff takes the order from the table just like a normal restaurant and bills at the end of food. This appeared a partial narrative by Haldiram towards customer by distinguishing between rich and poor.
Coming to food! I had tried almost all from their menu from 2022 and It's not at all worth it the money they are charging!!! Had today their Special Thali; The butter paneer tasted stale, Parathas were 2 1 half cooked and 1 burnt (picture attached), Rice was cold and half cooked. Raita tasted sour and was unbearable to taste. Only thing good was Mix veg, Salad and Papad!
When complained the staff about the food their was crowd so they didn't give it a damn. Most of the time, I have seen the manager offering free alternative food when anyone complains but that's not what we expect to be done as a Regular Customer. And I have seen and heard the staff cussing and laughing at customers who complain when they leave. This is not good thing to do for a brand like Haldiram!!
I hope someone from your team would look into this matter, do the needful and hopefully improve and correct your mistakes.
Had Mailed on your mail id still there's no response...
