Poor Management
I had booked this place for my wedding. During the initial discussions, i was attended by Mr. Samadhan and he assured of all the possible help. However, post the booking, this started getting worsening. I will list down the cons.
Renovation work started after my booking, Mr. Samadhan failed to inform or maybe intentionally didn't inform to us about the renovation until we reached the property. ( We met him thrice before booking)
Very average decoration work but expensive. As per Mr. Samadhan, they have just one decorator tied up with and the work by the decorator (Raj) is below average and price is on the higher side. The decorator ruined the wedding entry for my bride, despite informing him of all the things in advance.
Not enough staff to manage the crowd. I could see only two servers, serving to the crowd of 250+ people.
No washrooms on the basement, so everytime people have to move up stairs and go to the bathroom.
Non Co-operative Staff and Management : During my Wedding, some of the family members couldn't get the time and hence planned to take the dinner later in the night. However, the management refused to give food to them and only after repeated requests, gave sandwich to them. Mr. Samadhan switched off his phone after sometime and disappeared from the wedding. Mine and Bride's food was kept in an open plate, which showed the quality of service.
Expensive rooms for guests : Mr. Samadhan said the room rent for December would be closer to 7k and asked us to book or get it a lot more pricier later. However, we got it for 5K on Agoda.
Rush to close the auditoriums : During booking, we had taken 4 auditoriums however, the management closed 2 auditoriums after 11 PM.
The property can Max accomodate 200 folks, anything over this would make it too crowded. However, Mr. Samadhan used to boast that the place can take atleast 280 chairs, which wasn't possible at all.
I will recommend to choose everyone to move to nearby Shikara (Hotel Highway View) for any such events and not ruin their day with...

Read moreMy stay at hotel Yogi was quite pleasant, the staff was very friendly and the rooftop restaurant food had good ambience, food, sheesha bar etc. While my experience was good to say the least I would list down some things the hotel could improve on below:
The fridge in my room was not working this should have been addressed before I checked in.
The safe had an issue whereby it was just not opening at all I reported this a couple of times but it seems no solution was available
The toilet paper being provided was always less than half which I found very odd. The full roll should be provided so the customer doesn't have to keep asking for the same thing.
WiFi was extremely horrible I had to keep asking reception for a password, this should not be the case it should automatically connect and connectivity was quite poor as the only place you could use it was the room. There was also a day where the Wi-Fi was not working at all and the issue was sorted out the following day.
The breakfast was good however the options were very limited, for example in one section they had chicken nuggets and boiled eggs and the next chicken sausages and boiled eggs there should be better variety maybe something that can be improved upon.
While taking a shower the bathroom floor has no proper slab so the water leaks out below the door needed to put a mat below everytime so the floor doesn't get wet
Always had to request for hand towels which was a bit frustrating it should be provided at all times.
Every time you return to the hotel your card needs to be validated each time which was quite frustrating, this should not be the case I should be able to access the room whenever.
My special thanks to Aniket (captain), Jatin and Johny at the reception who were very helpful and friendly and had great...
