Read moreOur stay at Hotel Trans International in Delhi was, unfortunately, a series of inconveniences that fell short of expectations, especially considering the price point.
Major Issues:
Unpleasant Odors: The initial room we were assigned had an extremely foul odor, resembling that of a dead animal. This was completely unacceptable and required a room change. Multiple Room Changes: Unfortunately, the second room wasn't much better – it wasn't clean.
Water & Temperature Control Issues: The water pressure throughout the stay was terrible, making showering frustrating. Additionally, the AC remote in our room lacked a crucial function – the off switch button. Bathroom Woes: While geysers were present, they were rendered useless due to significant scale buildup in the taps. This resulted in a lack of hot water, a major discomfort. Overall:
Our experience at Hotel Trans International was far from ideal. The combination of unpleasant odors, unclean rooms, water pressure problems, malfunctioning AC remotes, and non-functional geysers left us feeling like our stay wasn't worth the cost.
Recommendation:
We would advise potential guests to carefully consider these issues before booking a stay at Hotel Trans International. There might be better options in Delhi that offer a more comfortable and problem-free experience...

We stayed here for one night between two flights. Therefore the location ist nice, because it is close to the Airport. But you should be aware, that the area around the Airport has not that much to offer and the air is most of the time filled with smock.
When we arrived, the stuff was neither friendly, nor hostile. Our room was quite big, but that’s where the Problems started:
It wasn’t clean at all, not even compared to the hostels we’ve already stayed in India. The bed had a vast variety of hairs and little stones? (I guess) on it and in it. The furniture got a layer of dust (or so) on it. The bathroom was dirty as well, starting with dust everywhere and ending with fungus and algae in the sink. Not to mention the toilet.
We were given two towels (those were clean) but only one pillow (we were told, that there weren’t no clean sheets left). As we complained at the reception we got a second pillow, but it looked kind of used.
We had booked an included breakfast, but as we had trouble to find the restaurant, we decided that it might be for the best, to skip it anyway, caused by the hygienic standard we’ve experienced.
So don’t fall for the former...
