Subject: Extremely Disappointing Dine-In Experience at Viva Holiday Inn.
Dear Viva Holiday Inn Management,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the incredibly negative experience I recently had during my dine-in visit to your establishment. As a loyal customer of Viva Holiday Inn, I expected a certain level of quality and service, which unfortunately was completely lacking on this occasion.
First and foremost, the service I received was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive, paying little attention to the needs of the customers. It took an excessive amount of time for anyone to take our order, and even then, it was done with an evident lack of enthusiasm. The waitstaff appeared to be overwhelmed and untrained, leading to frequent mix-ups with orders and a general sense of chaos within the dining area.
To compound matters, the food that was eventually served was far from satisfactory. The quality was subpar, with several dishes arriving cold and unappetizing. The presentation lacked any semblance of care, and it was evident that little effort had been put into ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Even after bringing these concerns to the attention of the staff, there was no attempt made to rectify the situation or offer an apology.
As someone who has previously enjoyed dining at Viva Holiday Inn, this experience has left a lasting negative impression on me. I expected much more from a renowned establishment like yours. The lack of professionalism, poor service, and subpar food quality are simply unacceptable.
I strongly urge you to address these issues promptly and take the necessary steps to improve the dining experience at Viva Holiday Inn. Your establishment has the potential to provide exceptional service and create a memorable experience for customers, but without immediate attention to these concerns, your reputation may suffer.
I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously, and I look forward to hearing from you regarding the actions you plan to take to rectify the situation and ensure that such disappointments do not occur in the future.
Yours...
Read moreLast night, I had the opportunity to dine at Viva - All Day Dining, situated within the Holiday Inn in Aerocity. We arrived around 10:00 pm, and upon entering, I was pleased with the welcoming ambiance of the place. However, as we delved into the buffet experience, I found myself increasingly disappointed.
The buffet, which was the centerpiece of our visit, left much to be desired, especially considering the price tag. The selection was sparse, and the service was hit or miss. On several occasions, we found that items we were looking forward to trying had run out, and the staff's response was simply that they were over, without any effort to replenish them.
The experience with the service was particularly frustrating. The pasta never arrived, and even something as simple as garlic naan required multiple reminders before it was brought to our table. The same issue was prevalent with the starters, with the chicken tikka taking nearly 45 minutes to be refilled. This is not the level of service one would expect from a buffet, let alone one associated with the Holiday Inn brand.
The desserts were another area of concern, as we discovered that the Baked Yogurt and several other items had already been depleted, and no one seemed to be in a hurry to replenish them.
On the bright side, the food that we did manage to try was quite good. The Chinese dishes, in particular, stood out and were a highlight of the meal. However, the overall experience was marred by the lack of variety, poor service, and the feeling that the value for money was not there.
I had hoped that the Zomato Carnival Segment would make the experience more worthwhile, but even with the discounts, I couldn't shake the feeling that the food, service, and selection were not up to par with what was being charged.
In conclusion, while the ambiance and the taste of the food were commendable, the lack of variety in the buffet, the poor service, and the value for money left me feeling that my visit to Viva - All Day Dining was not a...
Read moreVisited Viva for the lunch buffet on 5th March 2020. I had last visited Viva 7.5 years ago and revisiting remembering the amazing food from back then. However, 7.5 years later, I disappointed. The food spread, the taste and the service is not what it used to be. The food didn't give me that tasteful and well made feeling it gave back then. This time it was just okay, nothing special. The service was very slow considering the restaurant was relatively empty when I came at 1245 hrs. Yet, could see the requested dishes from the live counter sitting and waiting for 10 mins before someone would serve on the table. On the day, there was a pizza and pasta live counter which I tried. The dough of the pizza was freshly made but the pizza lacked toppings and even though the base was crip, the sauce, the vegetables and the cheese weren't quite ready to be served.
Overall, the food is okay, if you are staying there then you may try it. It's not worth coming specially for lunch with was the...
