We had booked the hotel through Make My Trip, and the day we reach this hotel we were travelling from Ajmer to Delhi (8hrs journey). The hotel people gave us the room no.103 which was a desaster and the attendant left us in the room without evening asking if we are comfortable. I went and spoke at the reception desk about the uncleaned room and so, they asked us to move to a family room however we will have to vacate if they receive new booking and when we denied to keep changing rooms they had given us a another disgusting room no.304 which was again a disaster, we called MMT but it was waiting and were going through all this after we had travelled for 8hours. Since we had no energy left after travelling to keep seeing the disgusting rooms also complete amount was paid to MMT we had to stay in that room. After our return when we raise the complaint for the misleading reviews and hotel room details...one of the MMT agent called me and he had the audacity to tell me the hotel is claiming our stay was pleasant, such a ridiculous agent and the hotel staff, I told him about my next course of action if the fake recognition and misleading reviews are not removed about the hotel, also that I have all the videos and images of what I had complained about the hotel.
This hotel rooms are very very dirty, dirty bedsheets, shaggy and broken mattress, dirty pillow covers, dirty blankets, dirty curtains with spiderwebs, empty liquor bottles found inside the drawer must have left by the previous customer, cigarette ashes around the floor, hair strands on bed and floor, used earbuds beside the bed, wrappers of used cond*, paints were pealing out of the walls, no cable and tv remote was provided even after reminding the receptionist every day throughout our stay and even the basic hygiene wasnt maintained by the hotel, more over the cab drivers are disasters (Chandana Singh) is a cheat (argued for parking and toll fee and when we told him we had already spoken to the hotel people..we started his game to drive into the traffic to delay the ride and jumbled the destinations so that we end up spending more time on streets and exceed 8hrs day trip and cant complete the sight visits...and so that next day he gets the chance of getting the cab booking) and such a mannerless also argues for no reason and also who tried to cheat from every possible way and when we call the hotel to inform the drivers change their tone and pretends to be polite as if they were never rude..I wonder how could make my trip mislead customers by showing fake reviews about such a disgusting hotel. The mistake we made while booking the hotel was we made full payment in advance and also believed and got carried away with the MMT recognition hotel-description and reviews...it was the disgusting hotel stay ever...
Read moreIf I could rate zero I would ||The hotel Almati Inn is without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.; I was accompanied by my husband. This hotel was booked by our tour guide in Goa and we were making a three day trip to Delhi and the Taj Mahal. When we arrived at the hotel, it appeared quite fine from outside, I approached the reception desk to be told that they didn’t have our reservation. We produced the confirmation of the reservation which had been given to me by my tour operator and was told that we would be accommodated in the Venus hotel which was a sister hotel. When we arrived at the sister hotel there were two Canadian people in complaining that they two had been shunted from the Ashanti in and that the rooms were substandard. We were assured that the hotel would be fine and we asked to see one of the rooms. This was meant to be a 3/4 star hotel. The hotel stunk with a foisty smoky smell. We were accompanied upstairs by a male member of staff and were shown to the room, the room absolutely stunk. there were no towels it was fairly mediocre; decor was grubby and the room was extremely unattractive , there was no window. We asked for towels and the two towels that were brought were filthy they were massively stained. The member of staff assured me they were clean towels and brought more equally stained. We decided we wanted to see the original room booking and went back down to reception. At reception the Canadian couple was still arguing their case saying that they wanted a better room in the original hotel. We were in room 401.||We were shown a room in the Almati Inn. It was no better, very poor repair, stunk, constant noise from outside (sounded like air con but we didn’t have air con on). A drawer kept opening didn’t matter how many times I closed it. The WiFi was poor and there wasn’t even any toilet paper or tea/coffee making facilities. It was late, we’d been travelling since early hours and decided to cut our losses especially as our driver was picking up us the following day from this location. ||In fairness the sheets were white. ||I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s absolutely horrid. To make matters worse it’s staffed only by middle-aged men which can be very intimating to...
Read moreVery Surprised to see so many positive reviews, these reviews were the reson for us to book this one for a night. First of all this is not 4 star hotel.. its not even 1 star hotel. Bathroom and room both were dirty and infested with Cockroaches and insects. Basic Amenities like Shower Gel, tea coffe making facilities were not provided. I have photos which shows true condition of the hotel. Bed sheets were spotted (probably never changed) beds so old that the mattresses were sinking in. First room alloted was full of dust, by dust we mean blobs of dust on TV Unit never been cleaned.. on complaining they prepared other room for which we had to wait an hour.. second room was better but still dirty and infested. On request thry gave us kettle, tebags etc hich we rinsed and kept to boil, on boiling small insects started coming out of kettle cap - disgusting. We couldnt drink a cup of tea neither could have dinner because we were told that they dont cook veg and non veg separately . We are pure veg and also have allergies. Also after seeing infestions in room we were scared to eat from the kitchen. Tht prie we paid was not cheap a bit less than Sarovor Portico which truly is 3 star hotel, we booled Almati as there was no vacancy at Sarovar but we were fooled as it was advertised as 4 star should have booked Lemon tree which is 3 star but were misguided by the reviews and star rating... Even if it is free please dont go and stay there unless you are used to infestations and dirtyness. Only good thing was that staff tried to help as much but the hotel need maintenance and I still dont understand why this is...
