Review for Hotel East End, Delhi Airport

I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel East End near Delhi Airport and would not recommend this property to anyone.

Room condition: The very first impression was unpleasant – the room smelled strongly of smoke. When I raised this, the staff casually dismissed it, saying it was “because the room was closed for long.” This is not acceptable for a guest paying for a clean and fresh room.

Cleanliness: The toilets were dirty and poorly maintained. Basic hygiene standards were clearly lacking.

Electricity issues: I booked for two nights, but there was no electricity throughout the first day and night. When I complained, the staff casually mentioned that it was a “whole day issue” and would only be fixed the next day. There was no backup arrangement provided. When I asked about checking out, they simply said “okay,” and when I asked about a refund, they directed me to MakeMyTrip instead of taking responsibility.

False claims: To make matters worse, when MakeMyTrip followed up, the hotel staff falsely claimed that they had arranged alternate accommodation for me. On a joint call, they changed their story again, saying I had left the hotel despite their “offer” of alternate accommodation – which was a complete lie.

Unprofessional management: Once their excuses ran out, they bluntly said they would not provide a refund even though the fault was entirely on their side.

Overall, this was a horrible experience – the hotel is mismanaged, the staff are unprofessional, and they are not truthful to customers or travel partners. I strongly advise against booking...

Rooms are small and furniture has sharp edges/corners, unsafe specially for children. Sheets were dirty with human hairs and stains all over. Bathrooms have nothing for hanging towels/clothes or placing your toiletry needs. Signs of renovation or unfinished work are everywhere.
