Hotel Eurostar International Delhi Airport -T 3 — Hotel in New Delhi

This is a cheap hotel in an area with many budget hotels. Bed linen is clean - rest would deserve being cleaned properly. Bathroom is absolutely not a joy||But worst, service. Had a very early morning flight and man in the reception took note of the time for a car 4:15 AM. "A hotel car" he said.||Coming down in the reception a few minutes before there is noone there, And no car. A man is asleep again. on a sofa. I try to wake him up. First gently. Then more and more brutally. Nothing happens. I start to ask myself if he is alive at all, but he is warm and breathes. A man appears from the basement. He has no knowledge of a car. But can can see the request. Calls for a cab. There were, understandably, no such thing as a hotel car. Said it would come in 5 minutes. 5 minutes pass, No car. Calls again."Two minutes" Goes on like this in several rounds. Finally I ask him "Is a car coming, yes or no?" And he says "no". Firstly finding this hotel is a task. The lift wasn’t working. So we had to climb to the second floor. The room was tiny, barely any space to walk. Not enough light (just 1 worked and dim). Pretty unclean room and smelly as there was no proper ventilation facility. There was a window but a wall next to it, so no light coming through. The ac didn’t work all night but we were too tired to complain. Above all there was no vodaphone network in the room (so forget about imp calls and otp) they asked to connect to the wifi.

We checked in at night around 12 and had flight next day around 5 so we requested for a late checkout as we barely stayed 20 hrs but they denied and asked to pay for half day.

Which is pretty disappointing for the price they are charging and the facility we are getting. Just because I paid advance I had to stay else I wouldn’t have spent 1 min in this place. I had to stay for a night near the IGI Airport as i was in transit. This hotel is within 5 kms from the airport. The delhi traffic police prepaid taxi counter at the airport charged rs.260 to the hotel as it was almost midnight when i checked in. I had booked the hotel through OYO rooms app and it costed me rs.1314 for one night stay. The check in was fast. Hotel staff were good. I had got a room in the third floor. There wasn't any lift. The room and washroom were satisfactorily clean. Warm water was available as geyser was there and functional. The free breakfast buffet had parathas and pickle, bread (toasted & normal) and jam/butter, omlete and tea. The check out was also fast.
