I recently had an extremely disappointing stay at Hotel Alpine Tree, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn other potential guests.
Terrible Staff Behavior - From the moment I checked in, the staff were rude and unhelpful. They seemed annoyed at every question and made no effort to make my stay pleasant.
Hidden Charges - Beware of booking any deals with this hotel. I was charged extra upon arrival, which was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic.
Stinking Rooms - The room I was given smelled terrible. It was as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The stench was overpowering and made the stay unbearable. Don't get fooled by the images on their website and other booking platforms.
Uncleaned Toilets - The toilets were in a deplorable state. They were dirty and emitted a foul odor. It was clear that proper cleaning and maintenance are not a priority at this hotel.
Bad Food - The food served was of very poor quality. It Seemed stale and even had cockroaches in it ordering at the hotel's restaurant was a miserable experience.
Non-Functional AC - In the scorching 45°C heat, the air conditioning in my room was not working. When I requested a room change, I was told that no ACs in the hotel were functioning. This is unacceptable and dangerous in such extreme weather.
Poor Maintenance - The overall condition of the hotel is dilapidated. The carpets are stained, the furniture is old and broken, and the hallways are dark and dingy.
Noisy Environment - The hotel was incredibly noisy at all hours. I could hear people shouting and doors slamming constantly, making it impossible to rest.
Unsafe Area - The location of the hotel felt unsafe, especially at night. There was little security presence, and the surrounding area seemed quite sketchy.
Unresponsive Management - Any attempts to raise these issues with management were met with indifference. They made no effort to address my concerns or make any amends.
Overall, Hotel Alpine Tree was a complete disaster. The combination of poor service, unclean facilities, and deceptive pricing left a very bad impression. I strongly advise against staying here. There are much better options available in the area that will provide a more pleasant and...
Read moreWe stayed in OPO hotel in Mahipalpur for two nights on our visit to New Delhi. It was our first time in India and it was a sudden trip. Since we didnt book a hotel online we went there and talk to the hotel receptionist and he told us it was 3000inr per night. Since we were very tired we booked the hotel without checking any other. We checked this price on the booking.com and it was only 2500inr there but we didn’t mind that thinking we were supporting them. It was very very cold in Delhi and the temperature was 4’C. When i tried to have a shower at night the freaking hot water was not working it had worked when my fiance had a bath but not for me. And when we called to complaint they did not answer the phone. I had to boil some water from the kettle and wash my face. The second day they did not even give us water bottles nor tea or coffee packets as they must and the people working there are very unfriendly and you can’t possibly ask them anything because they won’t even smile at you. ||||The day we checked out we were 30mins late to the checkout and they had the audacity to charge us 1000 rupees when we clearly asked them for a late checkout the previous day. They were very unprofessional when I questioned them and they raised their voices at us and it was almost like they wanted to hit us. This was our first trip as husband and wife and we were very excited to visit India again but OPO hotel made us hate visiting India again.||||Never stay at this hotel it is absolutely the worst they won’t even talk to you in English they raise their voices in Hindi very well knowing that we don’t understand a thing. The receptionist is the worst. Absolutely horrific...
Read moreI booked the hotel with agoda and it took my Canadian credit card to book. However it also say to pay at the hotel. When I got to the hotel at 2 am, the hotel didn't take Canadian credit cards! Only Indian credit cards or cash. I am flying out in 8 hours, so I have no cash to pay the hotel and I am not going to use the ATM to get cash. The fees are way too high. The staff tried many times and he also borrowed a machine for internal cards. It still didn't work. It took me an hour trying to get it sorted. At the end, I left to spend time in the airport instead. The location is good. The rest I am neutral since I didn't actually stay inside The opo hotel regency is way better thou. I suggest travelers arrive there to pick their hotel. There were a lot of them right next to each other. I was too tired to try to see which one will take international credit cards. BE AWARE OF THE ONES PAYING AT THE HOTEL if you need to pay by non-indian credit cards....
