OYO Om Sakthi Hotel — Hotel in Puducherry

We faced lot of trouble while check in into this hotel. They didn't allocate us rooms even our booking got confirmed in oyo and we paid full amount in online.At first , they said there are no rooms allocated in our name from their end.Later, while I was in call with OYO customer care, hotel ppl checked and told like rooms got booked in our name but it got checked in automatically due to technical glitch still they refused  to give us rooms and told like they didn't accepted booking as in OYO booking rate is showing less and said their rooms are filling with higher rates that day.I felt it so mean as they are not allocating rooms even it got booked because of cost. Even OYO guys are not convincing them, instead they are convincing us to shift out booking to someother hotel or to accept for refunding and asked us to search hotels in offline. I got frustrated with both hotel and OYO team behaviours and they have wasted 2 hrs like this. Finally, hotel people gave us rooms after taking  extra money for same rooms from us meanwhile OYO team disconnected call without giving any solution. They took 1500 RS per room which I felt rooms are not cost worthy(Rooms are not clean). This issue happened not only to us , so many people suffered like this which I got to know by seeing reviews after that. I felt hotel people are money minded with no ethics.

Totally my experience is very bad with this hotel and I never recommend this hotel to anyone.Please think thousand times while...

I made a reservation for two rooms at the OYO Om Sakthi Hotel through Agoda's website, having paid Rs 10,760 online for a confirmed three-night stay from October 21st to 24th, 2023. Upon arrival on the 21st evening, Vijji, the Property Manager, acknowledged our booking in their system. However, she insisted we cancel the online reservation by contacting OYO directly and demanded an additional Rs 15,000 in cash to secure our accommodation.

Despite the property being listed as OYO Om Sakthi Hotel online, it was actually named VMB Residency, leading to a distressing situation where my family, including a child and elderly mother, waited for over two hours in the lobby. Attempting to resolve the issue, I called the OYO helpline more than 20 times for a refund, but the helpline seemed more focused on new bookings and left existing bookings unattended, keeping me on hold indefinitely. It's incredibly challenging to find available rooms, especially in unfamiliar places during peak times and late evenings. This situation has added further stress and worry when I faced unexpected accommodation issues.

Vijji's refusal to honor the confirmed booking and insistence on immediate cash payment created an immensely distressing experience, showcasing a lack of consideration for customers and tourists alike. I strongly discourage booking this hotel to spare others from similar hardships that could potentially...

I just entered the hotel for checking , the receptionist who is a female shouting at me like a superior, i called to oyo customer care and I want to cancel the booking for this kind of behaviour towards me and the customers , this Oyo didn't even cancel the booking instead of that , they said they'll make other booking in the same hotel I said I want another Oyo not this one ,Oyo customer care responded properly, i finally left that hotel and searched some other hotel, meanwhile this Oyo entered my identity as I was checked in , I've not even checked into this hotel they made a fake booking in my name without my knowledge and my identity, even this Oyo customer care ones also didn't helped me, when I contacted them, very cunning and frawd Oyo system, my serious advice to Oyo users please don't make any advance payment in this Oyo bookings first contact the hotel and just verify after that you have to decide whether to check-in or not,many of friends also booked the same hotel on the same day finally they also faced the same thing, they also didn't get any refund amount which I've faced this issue with this Oyo hotel, please don't do any payments pre booking for these kind of Oyo hotels.
