FabHotel Golden Velvet - Hotel in The Celebration Mall, Amritsar — Hotel in Punjab

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our visit to the Golden Temple. The room was quite comfortable, and the washroom was clean and modern, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel.

However, we were disappointed with the dinner service. We asked for dinner around 10 PM, but the hotel was unable to provide any food at that time. Instead, they directed us to a nearby restaurant about 100 meters away. Unfortunately, it started raining, and we had no choice but to walk there in the rain.

The restaurant they recommended turned out to be very unhygienic. The plates were stained yellow and looked quite unpleasant — honestly, it was quite off-putting. The place was filled with people drinking alcohol, and the entire restaurant reeked of alcohol, which made it uncomfortable for a family dinner.

That said, the food itself surprisingly tasted good, but the environment was far from suitable, especially for families or those looking for a clean and quiet dining experience.

Overall, the hotel stay itself was comfortable, but lack of basic dining options late at night and the poor quality of the recommended restaurant really...

Pathetic experience. The room we got were very small, there was no hotel water in the room. Geyser needs to be switched on each time. Each time we have to inform the hotel that we have to take a shower now, so switch it on please. Which is very annoying. Also there is no window in any rooms from the hotel. The night reception guy (thin guy) was quite rude. The day reception guy (chubby guy) is very friendly. In the morning, we asked to change our room as we were not getting hot water even when informed the reception. The second room also was not that good, but atleast we got water. We have to inform the reception beforehand what we want to eat for breakfast. They do not have many options, only sandwiches and parathas. We will not go there again. The hotel is next to...
