OYO 23357 Raj Tirath Niwas — Hotel in Punjab

They have many small hotels, but on website, they show only 1 hotel. Upon over booking, they keep shifting people to other branches. ||||I booked 2 rooms for 2 days in this hotel for my parents and friends. Total 5 people all 60+ age. ||||They refused the to provide rooms, booking done thru Cleartrip (booking ID 15111988220) . Upon too much argument, they shifted everyone to another 1 star hotel. That hotel was a ugly. Broken washbasins, third person bed could not be fitted. No breakfast, after too much discussion, the manager said - "I will give only 1 Parantha and 1 tea"..... they charged us for 3 star and made us stay in 1 star. ||||Upon reimbursement request of the difference, they are quoting no difference in prices. Even though it is 15 mins walk to Golden temple, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any family traveler. ||First reason:||The hotel location is in lane which is very narrow and one cannot get any transportation outside the hotel, you need to walk for 1-1.5 kms. ||Second reason:||Mobile network reception is dead once you enter the hotel premise area.||Third reason:||Room is too small and not at all clean. When we reached the hotel floor was completely wet.||Fourth reason:||Wi-fi is connected but not at all working.||||We din't stay there, even though the booking was for 2 nights, we shifted to Humble Una hotel at Lawrence Road. ||||If you are backpacker and looking for cheapest stay you can opt for this place but if you are travelling with family / kids / senior citizens, please...
