OYO 47054 The Phoenix House — Hotel in Punjab

I booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip. We arrived at the hotel to be received by unwelcoming staff. He just stared at me and was profoundly shocked upon my request of having a room. He first said that there is no room available and demanded our booking confirmation. We presented this and this prompted him to make a few calls. Later his colleague came downstairs (presumably from the room that we were supposed to use). They had a huge verbal abusive argument. The argument was in relation to the owner finding something out, not sure what it was but I can tell you it was vulgar and offensive. Following this, the man on the reception made us wait for 20 minutes and provided us with a key. We went in the room and it was not clean, clearly used and did not have the promised utilities such as Wifi or a kettle. We came down to use the shop and saw another member of staff who was drunk on his job. The behavior of the staff was off putting and substandard. I am not picky but the experience at this hotel was really terrible....

I repeat Don't Ever Book this hotel online for stay, As they'll deny booking when you reach there by saying that we don't accept Bookings made online, Even though they're listed on All Major Online Hotel Booking Platforms, After Saying them that I've already paid the booking amount in advance they said that our rooms start from 1700, But they listed them at starting price of Rs 610 & then they'll offer you to pay the difference of ₹1100 to stay there, So my advice is to avoid booking this Hotel & Don't fall in for cheap prices showing Online, These are just to make you suffer, They'll deny check-in last minute if you...

Worst place ever i booked this hotel 2 days ago and i booked online with pay at hotel option first they told me to cancel my booking so they don’t have to give commision to online site but i didn’t canceled it and they charge me taxes again in the hotel , i booked a room with free breakfast but in the morning when i asked for my breakfast they said we’ll charge for it moreover rooms were smelly, dirty and walls were broken the water was drippin out of the ac everything was worst in hotel never going again...
