the villa was very nice and the two staff member were nice and coureous too. But the management attitude towards guest was terrible and not at all acceptable. Have stayed at several luxury villas and at 5/7 star hotels all around the world. firstly the villa was understaffed, which wasnt mentioned anywhere. they had several crazy rules and restrictions, which again arent mentioned anywhere online (if they were ,we wouldnt have booked it). what kind of luxury villa you arent allowed to eat inside the room? we were charged extra for spoiling a bed sheet? which hospitality management does that? also they charged us double for a bed sheet. And no guests would purposely spoil/damage things. mistakes happen, but instead of poliety talking and asking for extra money from the guests Mr. Punit was rude and sent messages which were not acceptable at all. he sent really rude messages rather than being polite and just let the guest know the problem very generously, If at all he was politely asking for the extra charges we wouldnt have had any issues. But such management attitude was something that is really spoiling the image of indian hospitality system. and secondly you have mentioned that we threatned to write negative reviews, its not threatning, its a fact. and secondly what was so indecent that we did? just because the bed sheet was spoilt means the guests were indecent? WOW! we could see your decency...
Read moreThis place should be named amar “ashram”. Theres no freedom of expression. Have visited several villas all over india and world till now, but never experienced this. If you want to enjoy a holiday, party and chill, completely a wrong place. Hotels would be even better than this. ||its a 5bhk, but only two staff members doing everything. We had to wait hours for every small thing and food too. ||The two staff members were very polite and generous. But the management is not acceptable. Mr. punit is rude and didnt live up to the tagline of “atithi devo bhava”. Also, this villa is in connection with a family home, the owners pf the house. So there is no such thing as privacy. Also, to our surprise, we felt like we were back in school when someone came and took away a bowl of good cause we werent ‘allowed’ to eat in the bedroom. Moreover this house has more rules than our home. We were told a breakfast buffet which wasn’t given to us either. It is understaffed and not the place if you’re looking to have a good time with your friends and family. Like i said, it is more like a military school...
Read moreWe stayed at Amar Villa in Udaipur for one night and had a generally positive experience. The location is a major plus as it’s conveniently near the main city, making everything easily accessible. The hospitality was commendable—the staff was very helpful and did their best to make us comfortable throughout our stay.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks. We stayed in the terrace room on the top floor, and unfortunately, the water flow was very slow, which made it difficult for water to reach the top properly. Another point to note is that while the villa is advertised as a villa, it feels more like a hotel. There isn’t a private hall, and the owner's residence is right next door with no clear partition, which limits the level of privacy.
Overall, if you’re looking for a place close to the city with good service, Amar Villa is a solid option, though some improvements could be made in terms of water supply...
