I had an incredibly disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel, with issues arising every single day: • Day 1: Dirty Sheets and Delay in Service Upon check-in, the bedsheets in the room were visibly dirty, which was highly unhygienic and unprofessional. When we requested fresh sheets, it took over an hour to have them replaced. The staff blamed the delay on multiple guests checking out simultaneously, leaving them behind on laundry. This explanation, however, does not justify such negligence in maintaining basic cleanliness for incoming guests. • Day 2: Poor Housekeeping Service The housekeeping service was extremely inefficient. Despite several reminders throughout the day to clean the room, it was not done. By 11 PM, we had no option but to call the staff again and insist on getting the room cleaned at that late hour. Such delays and disregard for basic services are unacceptable and caused significant inconvenience. • Day 3: Hot Water Issues and Billing Discrepancies On the third day, while taking a bath, the hot water supply abruptly stopped. When I contacted the reception, they suggested sending hot water in a bucket instead of fixing the issue, which was both impractical and unprofessional. Further, we experienced confusion and overcharging with the laundry service. Initially, we were billed ₹740 for dry cleaning, but upon questioning, they reduced it to ₹470. The staff admitted they had incorrectly charged for both dry cleaning and washing. Such errors highlight a lack of transparency and care in handling guest services.

Overall Experience The combination of poor cleanliness, lack of timely housekeeping, hot water problems, and billing discrepancies indicates a severe lack of management and attention to guest satisfaction. If you are looking for value for money, this is your place. We booked the premium king-sized room and were not disappointed. The room, though small, had enough space for our suitcases, and two large windows that overlooked the mountain range outside - something that was a pleasant surprise.

The room has tea, coffee, a kettle which is a must for us. On request, they provided the hair dryer.

The staff is polite, helpful, and hard-working. If they seem tired sometimes, that is because there are a handful people who run the show. And they are doing a brilliant job. From the reception to the waiting staff at the restaurant.

The food is good. The breakfast had limited choices, but that’s more than what we need. It’s like ghar ka khana. There’s poha, aloo paratha, bread pakora, bread and butter/jam, tea, coffee, fruits.

The lunch and dinner menu has a variety of choices but we did not get to try them all. What we noticed is that they prepare everything fresh. The kitchen is run by an award winning chef, and it shows.

There’s a roof-top restaurant with live music and a small swimming pool and looks lovely in the night.

There’s also ample parking space - so there’s a bit of everything for everyone.

The location is perfect. Away from the crowd but a maximum of 3 kms to all major attractions like the city palace or Hathipole market. There’s a food street within walking distance.

Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend it to everyone.

Only negative is that there were stains on the pillow cover. And no stirrer for the tea/coffee. So the finer details are missing. That is why I could not...
