#review Udaipuri Restaurant which is situated on Shastri Circle Opp. Shastri Sweets is a pure vegetarian restaurant. Visited this place few days back. We ordered Tomato Soup Sweet Corn Soup Udaipuri Starter Platter Crunchy Corn & Spinach Salt & Pepper Bhatti ka Paneer Masala Udaipuri Dal Tadka Kabuli Masaledar Chole Jeera Rice Breads ( Tandoori & Missi) Papad Butter Milk Before jumping on food would like to point out that we were the only customer at that time & then customers started coming after 30 minutes. Tomato soup was very thick & was of gravy consistency. Sweet & sour soup was good. Their starter platter is one of my favourite dishes which have 5 types of starter namely Gold Coin, Hara Bhara Kebab Palak Chaat, Spring Roll & a Paneer Tikka. Everything was delicious. Then main course started coming in, i specifically asked our serves as to what to order as we wanted something spicy in paneer so he suggested Bhatti Ka Paneer. It came though the dish was good but it lacked spice & cream made it a bit sweeter though. Then came Dal Tadka which was okay. Then Kabuli Chole which were totally bland neither they were tangy nor spicy just eating chickpeas in some kind of tari. All the breads were good. Restaurant like these which I use to count one of the best for their service & food didn't even get to par. All the dips & chutneys came after everything was finished. Service was very slow considering their were very fewer tables occupied. Our Total Bill Came to INR 2418 but with Zomato Pro we Paid around INR...

Located in miiddle of the city makes the place easier to reach by cars as well as 2 wheelers. But the problem is parking space. If u plan to be there for lunch than getting parking space is next to impossible. But for dinners after 8pm some parking space will be available. The restro is on the 1st floor of hotel orbit building. Very pleasently decorated with sculptures made of untesils. When we went the place was completely deserted and we were the only guests there. We order bread basket, a paneer veggie and the house speciality rose ice cream. Shahi tukda and brownie were not available so were suggested to try rose ice cream. Sabzi was good with well balance of spices in complete rajasthani authenticity but only backdrop was that it has a lot of aakha dhaniya (whole corriander seed) which i didnt liked. Breads were soft nd specially the missi roti.. Mst try. Ice cream was also good. But it was jst like a normal kaju draksh ice cream with some rose essence and dried rose petals. But still it was good. If u get confused over what to eat then Kanhaiya ji is the man to get your servings complete... The food is super with authentic...
