Our stay at Harasar Haveli had been really great! The place is beautifully decorated with antient artifacts and other traditional decor. The haveli looks excellent at night with all the dim lighting around. You can even enjoy your meal under the sky at the open air restaurant. You may even spot a vintage car which is owned by them. Rooms are quite spacious, neat and clean. The best part about the room is a small chamber besides window which is made to resemble traditional Rajasthani 'Jharoga'. Children are definitely going to love that part of the room. Apart from this, the service is pretty good. The hotel staff is extremely polite and cooperative. The hospitality is amazing, the staff will surely make you feel welcomed in Rajasthan in the best way! Food is really delicious. Particularly, the main course dishes are great. However there's a slight scope of improvement in the variety they offer for breakfast. Our stay has been really memorable and the haveli is indeed one of the best affordable properties to stay at, in Bikaner.

Quiet place. 3-4 kms away from railway station. Not very expensive Rooms are spacious and reasonably cleaned. Access pavement road towards rooms is muddy and not properly cleaned. Old antique-looked beds are ok. Bathrooms are cleaned but towels and other amenities need to be replaced. Towels are very old and torn. It is good to have antique look, but the doors and other furniture need to polished and cleaned. Overall good for 1-2 night stay and better than many hotels near railway station.

a good hotel with decent rooms but they really need to improve few things and which are mandatory. They need to immediately improve standard and menu items in their Breakfast plans for people who booked breakfast along with their room. second thing is the amenities in room and their improvement. in my suite room geyser was not working last part is service. its bit slow and sometimes irritating.

Harasar Haveli is very strategically well located place in New City of Bikaner. Just outside property there is plenty of parking space for big SUVs to park for guests staying at Harasar Haveli. The Haveli is the family home of the grandson of the army minister of Raja Ganga Singh the main person responsible for the development of Bikaner. The Harasar Haveli is very beautiful and resemblance of yester years charm and royal ambience. The staff is very courteous and extremely helpful and efficient. We also met the owner of Harasar Haveli, he is very nice person and very friendly and welcoming to guests. His hospitality is very good. There is plenty of spots inside the hotel where guests can click pictures. The hotel arranges Auto and guide so that visitors can tour the city . Special mention to the food being served here. The food is simply superb and best food in the whole Bikaner and very reasonable and affordable prices. The food service is also very quick and prompt whenever you order food be it 8 in the morning or at night. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antique furniture and designed ceilings. The rooms are very clean toilets are sanitized. Fresh towels and hot water and heaters are always available. Even if you want to take shower at 5 in the morning you will get hot and cold water. The staff of the hotel deserve as much praise as possible they work tirelessly and very prompt and good in behavior. There are plenty of foreigners coming as guests here. In fact more than 50% guests are foreigners only. PostScript:- It is to be mentioned that the owner is a BJP leader and politician, but we also say that anyone who is planning to come here should not be predjudiced or discouraged to come here just because the owner is part of BJP party. We wish Team Harasar Haveli all the best for future and thank them for their...

Terrible experience in Harasar Haveli in Bikaner: Felt harassed and racism.

I'm going through a trip in Rajasthan, where everywhere I'm greeted by a smile. I believed that is the hospitality of Rajasthan, before I came to Harasar Haveli. Here in greeted by a shout and threat. There's a young staff named Saroj, who thinks he has the right to shout at and threat guests. Reason: I had booked a deluxe room 4 months back; but since I came from Jaisalmer, I came in the evening and I was given the most horrible room, at the back of ground floor. And I had requested to change the room. But, according to them, they are fully booked. So the staff shouted at me and threatened me. The room was so bad and poorly ventilated, that it looks like a cave even in broad daylight. One side windows open to the dining room, which definitely can never be opened.

We still agreed to stay in the room. But, as soon as I entered the toilet, I saw strands of hair lying on the floor(photo attached). The bath place was extremely dirty. I again went to the reception and requested them to change the room, but to deaf ears. They were so busy then chatting with foreigners. This is a place in India, where foreigners are given A class treatment and Indians receive horrible treatment. One staff came to check my toilet, picked up the hair and left. We stayed in the room for the next 45 mins, but no one came to clean the toilet.

This place is the perfect example, where a wonderful building can be made a horrible experience just by rudeness and racist behaviour of the staff. I feel sorry for the owners. And warn all my fellow Indians to stay away from this place.

Never believed Rajasthan hospitality can be this bad, before I...
