Wonderful experience!
I stayed here for few days, it is an old style heritage hotel which will give you feel of Rajasthani culture,
Although there are many hotels with modern rooms in kota , but if you want the cultural feeling then stay here
It has good outdoor lobby sitting area for family dinner , click good pictures for memories
Location: near to railway station ( walking distance) 🚆 kota junction,
Sogariya railway station: 15 mins
Connectivity to other parts of City---the nearest city bus stand is 1 minute away which can take you anywhere within Rs 20-30-40/- max (prefer city bus over other modes of transport as it is cheap and available frequently otherwise take cab)
Parking --- no issue , large and safe parking 🅿️
Food -- hotel food is good, it has moti Mahal deluxe restaurant in ground floor food.
Rooms: are neat and clean but washroom taps needs repair.
There was no charging point near bed.
City view was good, greenery of tree outside window was also good
Room service --- is good , if they ensure a common dress code for all staff then it will be cherry on cake
Hotel has capability of becoming a heritage hotel for international tourists
Sightseeing: 7 wonders park and lake cruise , kota fort , cv park, ahluwalia mall, kansua temple, chambal river front...

Please don't get fooled by the description and the pictures shared on the web. The stay was a nightmare and at any cost not considered as a proper hotel (forget about heritage ). Unhygienic room with dirty bedsheet, pillows with stains, smelly comforter. The towel was unwashed and not in a usable condition. Please see the pictures attached. Price: in ₹2000.00 you will get proper accommodation in Jaipur or Udaipur or even in New Delhi. No toiletry kit (apart from one soap) was provided. No tea coffee kits were there as well. Bisleri water bottle which was clearly refilled with normal water. When I checked in, two kids (one definitely under 10 another might be 14-15) were in the reception, and trying to arrange stuff by calling the real manager. The complementary breakfast includes tasteless burnt alu Paratha with dirty unwashed cutlery. Tea was also stale. They didn't give any water/water bottle, which is a very common practice. While checking out, the receptionist took money for the bottle. AC was not working, and throwing bad odour. Professional behaviour - 0 Food...
