Hotel Pol Haveli Jaisalmer — Hotel in Rajasthan

Last winter we had the pleasure of staying at the 'Hotel Pol Haveli' in Jaisalmer, and I can confidently say it is one of the best hotels I’ve ever visited!

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning architecture of the hotel, which beautifully reflects the traditional Rajasthani style with intricate carvings and vibrant colors. The ambiance is serene and welcoming.

Room Quality: My room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated with authentic Jaisalmer-style furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had all the amenities I needed, including high-speed Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Service: The staff at 'Hotel Pol Haveli' were exceptionally courteous and attentive. From the front desk (Manu Bhaiya*) to the housekeeping team, everyone made sure we felt well taken care of. They offered great suggestions on local tours and even arranged a desert safari for us, which was a highlight of our trip!

Dining: The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, both local Rajasthani specialties and international cuisine. The rooftop restaurant, with its panoramic view of the city, was the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner in to the hotel balcony.

Location: The hotel is located just a short distance from the Jaisalmer Fort, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The views of the golden sandstone structures from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. The terrace provided a fantastic view of the Golden Fort, which added to the charm of the stay.

Facilities: The hotel also offers a Free taxi services for pickup and drop for guest. The attention to detail is truly impressive.

Conclusion: If you are looking for the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and authenticity, 'Hotel Pol Haveli' in Jaisalmer is the place to stay. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting this beautiful city. The experience truly exceeded my expectations!

Excellent is the only word for Hotel Pol Haveli, Owner Manu and his Team.

We travelled as a Family.

PROS: Extremely warm and personalised welcome.

Beautiful interiors, tastefully decorated rooms and common areas.

Comfortable and authentic rooftop Rajasthani restaurant with Majestic View of the fort. You feel like sitting at the restaurant the whole day. Warm Bonfire in the evening.

Delicious home made food, made to order even if they do not have any particular dish on the menu. You just tell them and they will cook it right away.

Location is very near to all the major landmarks and tourist spots. You can walk down to almost all the place including the Fort and the main market.

It feels very safe and comfortable in there. You can see lot of families and solo foreigners (females) there.

Since the road for parking was narrow, entire team of 6 people came over to help me, despite the fact that I did not asked them for any help. All of them came over and started helping me from each and every nook and corner :)

The owner Manu, is instrumental in making sure that each and every guest gets personalised attention and he keeps on checking with all the guests if they are comfortable and if there is anything else that he can help with. He takes great pride in his own personalised touch to the service and he successfully does it.

If I ever go to Jaisalmair again, without a second thought, will go to Pol Haveli.

We arrived in Jaisalmer at night tired and dirty from a long bus trip and were greeted with a big smile from Manu as he picked us up to go to the hotel. From the start all of our needs were delivered happily and we were treated as family. The Deluxe Suite that we stayed was sumptuous and large, the bed was soft and & the sitting area was comfortable. Bathroom facilities were clean, spacious and worked well. The only downside was that the flatscreen TV did not work. The restaurant is an amazing place to hang out night or day with comfortable daybeds and balconys to recline on. The food is delicious being expertly prepared by Khan and the boys at all times. Anything you need or want can be organised and the entire team happily help with any task. They were invaluable in helping us to easily wrap & send a large package home, usually a bit of a nightmare to complete. They organised several daytrips for us to see the amazing sights of Jaisalmer and also run their own Desert camel safaris, where we camped out overnight in the desert (still providing beautiful meals and comfortable bedding).

We were in Jaisalmer for 10 days to relax after some tiring weeks of travel up the mountains and we were not disappointed at all with the attention and care that was provided for us during our stay. I would not hesitate to stay at the Pol Haveli anytime that I am in Jaisalmer and wholeheartedly recommend...
