Hotel Sparrow Palace — Hotel in Rajasthan

We had booked a two day package including accommodation in jaisalmer and desert camp. On first day, agent told us to check in the hotel. It's 3km away from main attractions. The hotel gives a good appeal in look. But the rooms were not clean. Agent told that guests were just checked out. He will clean it immediately. Next we tried to open the tap for water. We got electrical shock.For that he said,some inverter is turned on. He will turn that off. After turning on gyeser, we didn't get the hot water even though we waited 30 minutes. For that he said, there's some problem with heater. The bathing materials like soap and shampoos were not provided. When we asked for that, he said it's not included (anyway he gave us one set) All these things ate up our 3 hours. When we found that there are hardly 15 google reviews for a hotel started 4 years ago, he said that earlier the name was 'hotel regal', then it's renamed. In summary: • For these cheaper service, we were charged in high price. I'll not recommend this hotel as you'll get cheaper and better accommodation options in Oyo rooms near to main attractions. • Before you book, always check for google, trip advisor or better agency reviews • if you've booked a package, always make sure that they're providing you best facilities for the...
