RTDC Hotel KAJRI — Hotel in Rajasthan

There is no cleanliness at all .There are only 5 to 6 government staff in the hotel. Even after asking them to clean our room the person just moved the broom here and there. The room was just like it was before . We had booked the only suite room that they had which was behind some dumping area. No view. Even in the dinning hall limited seats were there . People had to wait in line for breakfast or have breakfast in the lounge behind which was also not clean . There is no cleanliness maintained in the dinning hall too. The plates were not clean and there was limited food in the buffet. We had to wait until the next round of food .Parking facility is good . The location is good and also the food but cleanliness is the main problem here.I would say that the bathroom is in a pathetic condition . I spot at least one worm daily . The decore of the hotel is very old . Nothing is new in the hotel . Everything is old and rusted.The bed covers and blankets are also dirty and stained. Hotel with Swimming pool is generally my first priority, but considering winter, and considering the importance of local sightseeing, I started searching RTDC Hotels. Found two options in Udaipur. Booked in advance Hotel Kajri, but needed one additional day, because of the travelling option I had selected, bus! And here I came across, in a wonderful understanding conversation with, Mr. Sunil Mathurji. Mahaprabandhak at RTDC Hotel Kajri. He supported and booked the same suite room for me just over a phone call, and the mail confirmation was there in my mailbox!! When we visit a completely new place, what we "actually need", is a true hospitality, budgeted, homely, support and gem of a person like Mr. Sunil Marhurji.

You name your requirements and he has the answer for it 😊 whether it's a rental taxi, long travel luxury bus, shopping clues.....just anything.

I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Sunil Marhurji and his entire team for good room arrangements, (extra room heater due to cold weather), good quality service and food, great hospitality, their attention to our small requests....etc

Overall, it was a wonderful and a memorable stay for me and my family at RTDC Hotel...

We chose RTDC Hotel Kajri for its central location and convenient access to local transportation. Our group of three senior couples found accommodation suitable for our needs, with two couples on the ground floor and the third in a suite on the second floor, made accessible by the hotel's elevator.||Although the hotel's reception displayed an apology for ongoing renovations, it did not disrupt our stay, as most major work had already been completed. Upon our request for an electric kettle due to our early rising habits, Mr. Verma promptly arranged for the purchase of kettles for all Super Deluxe and Suite rooms, ensuring our comfort with hot water on demand—a level of care unexpected in a government-owned establishment.||The rooms were immaculate, and the attentive staff ensured a homely atmosphere throughout our stay. Meals were prepared according to our preferences, and room service was efficient. Special recognition goes to Abhishek, the floor manager, who not only attended to our needs but also went above and beyond by arranging for the delivery of chargers and wires we had left behind at the railway station.
