A Regal Retreat: Taj Amer's Jaipur Elegance, Vintage Splendor, and Infinity Pool Panache
My recent business meet at Taj Amer in Jaipur was a journey into a world of timeless elegance and luxury. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel's stunning copper-themed surroundings adorned with intricate chandeliers, I knew I was in for an exceptional experience.
What truly set Taj Amer apart was its commitment to embodying the very essence of Jaipur's rich heritage. The entire property, from the meticulously designed rooms to the captivating vintage collection on display, exuded a classy Jaipur theme that was both captivating and authentic. The rooms themselves were a testament to the hotel's dedication to preserving the city's cultural heritage while providing modern comforts and conveniences.
As I explored the stunning rooms, each uniquely decorated with traditional motifs and vibrant colors, I felt transported to a bygone era of opulence and grandeur. The seamless blend of classic architectural elements with contemporary amenities created an atmosphere that was both inviting and awe-inspiring.
One of the standout features of Taj Amer was the infinity swimming pool situated at the terrace. This stunning addition provided not only a refreshing escape from the bustling city but also a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Taking a leisurely swim while gazing at the horizon was an experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and connected with the beauty of Jaipur.
Of course, the vintage Rolls-Royce cars available for rent further heightened the regal experience. Cruising through the city's streets in these elegant vehicles perfectly complemented the overall theme of the hotel, providing a taste of luxury fit for royalty.
In conclusion, Taj Amer in Jaipur is a haven that seamlessly marries timeless elegance, authentic Jaipur themes, and modern luxury. The captivating copper color theme, intricate chandeliers, beautifully themed rooms, and the addition of the infinity swimming pool all contribute to an unforgettable experience. For those seeking to immerse themselves in Jaipur's heritage while enjoying unmatched comfort, Taj Amer stands as the epitome of...
Read moreStayed at Taj Amer for a work related event for two days. Taj never needs words or validation for its properties, staff, room or comfort. The same is the story with Taj Amer as well, all the way from check-in to check out the most amazing stuff about this hotel is their staff. You feel so welcomed and the warmth is a delight. This is a nice property with very good rooms, silent and calm even though it’s on a busy highway, the property is self contained and you need not go anywhere else. My checkin process was super smooth and so was the check out, one of the best I have been though. The way rooms are designed is quite thoughtful (separate area as a walking closet, bathroom, shower area etc. Overall a good pleasant stay which I would highly recommend. However the reason I gave 4 star and being someone who holds high standards esp with 5 star properties here are some areas which I would like them to look at - House keeping - not sure given that I was part of a group booking, there was no house keeping done for my room. Not even the water bottle refresh and I had to ask for it late night when I came back to my room No track of time, they need to have an option to display time in the room, either a digital clock or anything similar. I know these days we all have phones but still there are a lot many who do not stick to phones always Weight machine in the bathroom and a small ottoman in the bathroom or closet would be very handy when you are getting ready and need to do things like shoes etc Zero plastic should mean zero plastic - good initiative on have glass bottles in the room but then the amenities are still in small plastic bottles which defeats the...
Read moreNot that good experience with this hotel...did not expected this from taj....first of all room service was pathetic as they took 25-30 min to deliver anything from like tissue papers to spoon...we had our 2 year old daughter with us so it made our experience more pathetic... Secondly food was not at all good...we tried many varieties to find some good taste but they failed... Breakfast did not have that much variety compared to other hotels/resorts yet it was somewhat tastier than any other meals.... I am a chai lover but didn't get any good chai throughout my stay which made my mood even worse...it seemed like they didn't know how to make a chai...However there is a Chinese restaurant house of ming which serves good and authentic chines food and staff was also nice and understanding....after hearing our room service experience prithvi and his senior gave us 20% discount on food and a complimentary cake which was a nice gesture. I have been to many hotels/resorts of the same category particularly in that same area but the food was very disappointing for me compared to other hotels/resorts... To add they didn't serve complimentary drinks on our arrival...
Swimming pool is not that big but was good...it had separate section for adults and kids...staff was very active there... Kids play area was good and the intern there was very caring and active with the kids... Property is good and luxurious...however there can be more activities like cycling etc. However we got bored on our second day....we had our checkout scheduled for next day but we departed day before at night and skipped our breakfast as we didn't find any reason to stay there as our mood was...
