Flagship Ooty Vpr Residency — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

We went for a group stay there... Just today 27-11-23 we vacated after getting a bitter experience. None of the rooms are showing as per the pictures... Looking old and not so clean... The major issues we faced on the hot water facility... For bathing, they not provided the hot water for all the 5 rooms we stayed... End up we all have to take bath in cold water at this current cold weather... Even after we keep complaining and raising this issue, they don't care and not sorted out our problems.... I won't recommend this stay for anybody... I won't do a bad review on anything unless I/we affected too badly... The only good thing about this hotel is, they provided very good food for all our breakfasts and dinners... Really good and tasty like home made food... All the rooms were almost of the same size with TVs available in all the rooms. Staffs could be a bit more punctual in cleaning and handing over the keys. And the most important concern we had was with hot water. Few rooms were perfectly fine but in some rooms the geyser didn't work at all and it became difficult to arrange for hot water. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about cleanliness etc. They'll charge extra 1000 if you want campfire. The food they provide is too good for the price. It was so budget friendly compared to other hotels in the place and it also tasted very good. But, you'll have to pre order saying that you'll be having breakfast, lunch or dinner in the residency. We would not refer MM cottage (under VPR residency) to anyone. Please do not expect the rooms to be same as shown in the pictures. Even if you check in, they might ask you to change the room/checkout anytime. We were not provided with any basic facilities. The heater wasn't working, there was no mug and trash can in the room. The entire place was unclean. Moreover, The door of the room and hand shower were also malfunctioning. With these cheapest facilities they charged high. There was no hospitality given to us.
