From the start of my booking I received a good cooperation from Mr . Sadasivam the resort manager , and his team , The resort is very nice and the ambiance was good room view is very nice . At the time of check-in . In the morning shift Kathir and Arya Is very friendly welcomed well . The way of welcoming the guest by the front office team is super . The front office night shift staff especially Naveen and Rahul , Praveen supported us very well . In the restaurant We received a good welcome by Bhuvana . Food was awesome. Service given by Sridhar Sir and his team Mr. Hari and Palanimanickam, The team feel a homely food it’s We spend three day the food is awesome and was good. I appreciate his complete cooperation for my team and the timely food and the enough Tasty food to the entire team , We get all the food on time . Restaurant was very neat and clean. Special thanks to Sridhar the Restaurant manager over there and his Assistant Ruban and his team , Actually food is needed for all they have given us a good food for us on the timely and a homely food , And the day and night service given the security staff Manokar and Mahesh they round fully the hotel Day and night and given a nice fearless sleep for us , And in the bornfire and over all maintenance team Mr.Vinoth had done a good job in the bornfire music and the Geaser in the all the room is worked well. I have given a good star rating to the La Flora Amberley resort in Ooty The credit goes to the special players here , Mr Mayan who served me well from the day I check In and three days he given me a full service in the morning followed by Naveen in the night shift they have given our team a great service. Support all the team we are very much satisfied with the service from the la flora Ooty team . Last but not the least the day and night all rounder Ruban is giving the food service from day to all night . I called him as Robert Ruban . And the special thanks again to Sridhar sir for the Great food . Read moreNot at all worth the price. Rooms walls are Whirlpool of water. Only two heaters available here, that too 300 per night. If you're lucky, you may get one. Its not very nice and warm heater. Looks like 5 years old. Geaser takes 30 mins to heat the water in the morning for each person to take bath. So be prepared to be late. Morning breakfast is terrific. They can't serve a group of 30 people sitting together in their mess. Always people have to be there in queues waiting for paranthas, puris or idli, and even bows and spoons. Did I mention tea and coffee would be there but no cups. Unlike the name they added, its not a resort in any way. Reception staff is rude. Food for dinner was costly with no taste and horrible service. After 5 to 6 calls, they serve you as if they did some favor and ask for money just there before having the food even. Phone provided in the room was awesome. I called and when someone picks, they could not hear me. I complained to reception going all the way 4 times to get it changed finally. They are earning well. So they don't bother for hospitality for the guests. Again next day we ordered some snacks. And after waiting and calling room service like 10 times, we did not get the order. We informed to cancel the order and decided to go out as it was already dinner time, wasting 1 hour waiting for simple order. After having dinner, when we came back to the room and slept, the service guy knocked the door while we and the kid was slept to deliver the snacks. We asked him that we cancelled the order as we waited for an hour and it is no time to have snacks now, but he was forcing the order and bill on us. Horrible experience. Better read some reviews before booking. It was in high demand when we booked and there are less options if you book late within 30 days of stay. So Keep in mind to book 30+ days early. I recommend Paradise perfect in Ooty than anything else. Do like if you find it helpful....
Read moreI visited this hotel between 26- 29 December. Hotel property is good however unfortunately they have not maintained it at all. I was doubtful to book hotel reading the mixed reviews, however still went ahead with booking thinking it must be good hotel. But let me tell you, it was very bad experience. To name few examples- After reaching hotel at 9 PM, they allotted me room which was freshly painted and paint was not dried. Then they assigned me another room. Second room's wooden flooring was damaged, wash basin tap was not closing and room was at extreme end and passage light was not working. once I asked for another room they said that room is not vacant and they will repair light and basin tap. I was not able to understand if they know that these things are not working why don't they repair it upfront and wait for customer to arrive and complain. After I raised my concern to accept room they assigned me another room. Its many electrical fittings were loose and not in working condition, but I was tired of again going to another room so I chose to stay there. Hot water in bathroom will come only if you are lucky, else you have depend on housekeeping teams mercy to get hot water bucket. Cleanliness in room is only if you ask for. Food and breakfast quality is below average and no sufficient space in restaurant to accommodate all guests. Access road to hotel is bad. They call it resort however it is very average hotel, so don't go by name while booking this hotel. They have hired trainee staff. Hotel service is pathetic. Absolutely not value for money. you get far better hotel for less price than these people charge. I will not recommend this hotel for anyone's memorable...
