Title: A Mixed Bag: Late Check-in Woes and Room Cleanliness Quandaries

Our recent stay at lance left us with a mixed bag of impressions, ranging from prompt service to cleanliness concerns.

We appreciated the hotel's proactive communication about our late check-in, ensuring that our rooms were prepared upon our arrival. However, the initial excitement waned as we entered our accommodations to find a less-than-immaculate setting. The room had just been cleaned, and the wet floor was a bit of an inconvenience. Stains on the furniture were visible throughout, diminishing the overall appeal.

One unexpected hiccup was the confusion surrounding the room keys. Although we were handed physical keys, the doors apparently locked automatically, rendering the keys useless except for initial entry. This lack of clarity led to an unfortunate incident where we inadvertently locked ourselves out with the key inside.

The discrepancy between our requested twin beds and the provided double bed was a notable disappointment. While the service staff was commendably swift in addressing our concerns, the oversight left us slightly disgruntled.

TV was not activated and was not available.

Housekeeping also fell short of expectations. Tea cups and plates lay scattered in front of various rooms and were not promptly cleaned. The persistently sticky floor demanded the use of footwear at all times, adding an extra layer of inconvenience.

On a more positive note, the hotel staff demonstrated efficiency and courtesy. Despite the aforementioned issues, service remained a strong suit of our experience.

The breakfast offered at the hotel was decent, though not without its drawbacks. Running out of certain items created wait times, testing our patience. Nevertheless, the meal was satisfactory once it arrived.

Parking, located in the basement, proved to be adequate and hassle-free.

In summary, our stay at lance was marked by a blend of positives and negatives. While the service staff impressed with their quick response and courtesy, the cleanliness and communication lapses detracted from the overall experience. Hotel is the best in city. For the price, we are getting the value back in terms of bedding, ambience, cleanliness. Its little far from city as per auto people norms. Toiletries are cheaper. Buffet breakfast spread in on lower side - strictly to south Indian. No cut fruits or English type. Restaurant manager is moody or angry type. By sharp, 9.57am, i had asked for omlette, i heard he scolded small boy he did he accept order from me (pls note breakfast timings till 10am). He orders to remove all items from the spread by 9.55am. It looks uglish when people are still dining - in other big hotels, people ll ask guests if they still wish to have something before they remove. In my opinion, Restaurant manager can be moved to some other department. Toiletries kept in this hotel is a big disappointment. Hotel management should think of biotique or forest essentials. Such cheap Toiletries kept in ur property ll downgrade your image. Towels are neat. Closet is little stained. It can still be cleaned properly.
