Good but Something very silly !!!
Stayed here for a day with my family . Breakfast was very good. Rooms were maintained neat and comfortable to stay.
One thing we noticed was -- the Mini bar which they claim to have in Premium / Deluxe room is not free of cost...They charge even for small small items / refreshments during check-out and also send a person to the room to see what you have consumed from the fridge...This looked very awkward and not very pleasing ..To me, it is not professional customer service.. When you charge around 3000 + GST for a room , ideally the first time consumption of basic food refreshments should be kept free of charge...Any additional requirement from customer from the second time onwards can be chargeable.. A customer who comes fully thirsty , hungry and need to take a drink or some snacks / chocolate once he checked-in...and when he check-out--if you give him a bill that you have consumed our Dairy milk , Pepsi and Lays Potato chips and you need to pay 250 (approx) ..is something which is very silly and annoying for the customer...That's something which is basic and you need to give it for free for the first time atleast.... My kids and wife were really surprised to hear having charged around 3700 for a Premium room , they still wanted to take 200 or 300 for the refreshments which was stored in the fridge....Any customer will feel very irritated about this....
Senior receptionist was not very professional .. Simply money minded following the management rules of collecting money for all the small small refreshments.. True, she did her job..but she must understand what real customer service is all about... and when the customer is checking out ..you need to send off with a good gesture...but at that point --you cannot send the waiter to check the room or fridge to see what you have consumed. This will annoy any customer.
Please improve on this aspect otherwise donot simply promote /market that you are providing a "Mini bar" with the premium room. For those, who get attracted to this --watch out --ITS NOT FOR FREE.
My suggestion is -- First time , you can keep the items for free..From second time onwards, you can charge for the refreshments..
People --Please watch out for this silly behaviour to avoid any last minute...
Read morenow what can i write ? after having gone through many web sites and reviews I zeroed down on khanna fiesta. my observations below
called Agoda a day before the check out and requested them to cancel / prepone a day since I had to come back early for another imp. work which came after I booked Got the response next from Agoda that this cannot be refunded for one day - my reason was genuine - it was not accepted Landed at Khanna Fiesta 1 hour earlier - 11 am - they have check in at 12 pm. However I called them a day before and requested below and it was obliged - Higher floor check in at 11.30 am but when I asked them to allow me check in 111.30 I was told this is not possible and i was made to wait. and even high floor was not given, front office giving me the reason it is already occupied. so there is a clear communication gap and I was promised and it was not done.
when I went inside - there was no toilet tissue - I followed up and ran after them on my entire stay and yet they did not replace with new toilet tissue. I had adjust with whatever was there. I went down to front desk regularly during my entire stay and asked about toilet tissue, every time I was told it would be given but NONE came to supply it
Around 10.30 pm one of these days I got bell ring on the room and support provided me with bath room tissue paper and not the ROLL. we slept early that day as we were tired and getting bell ring at 10.30 pm was not expected
when fan is switched on, there is a nagging sound and when I enquired I was told there is a kitchen above. Had a very disturbed sleep on the entire stay
7.There was no mat outside the bathroom or near the entrance inside
About the food in the afternoon - it was okay kind of food Not so great
I went to front desk, explained my situation if they could refund a day earlier check out but without asking management I was told this cannot be entertained
so In all - I would look at other hotels also apart from this for better service...
Read moreI'd been there twice and it has been a contrasting experience.
First time I went for lunch, the food was reasonably good. The service was also good and I had given a rating of 4. Nothing much to complain.
But when I went two days back (Sunday) for dinner they had Buffet being served. Having some very poor eaters in our family group we didn't want to have a Buffet for Rs. 520/- (including tax) person. So I asked them for Ala carte. They said some function is goin on and hence Ala carte will take 30 mins to serve. We agreed to it but the people serving were not up to the mark. They were not able to suggest any item. When asked what's the 'Soup of the day' that's mentioned in the menu the waiter had no clue what it means and said there's no such thing. When shown on the menu card he said they'd have 'Chumma put it there' (meaning they'd have put it there just like that but there's no such item). Anyway the food came after nearly 50 minutes. It was annoyingly slow. Also they brought the food placed it on the table and we had to ask them to serve the food everytime otherwise they themselves don't proactively serve.
On top of that the table was not cleaned properly there was juice spilt on the table from the previous customers but was not cleaned properly. When I kept my mobile on the table I noticed that my mobile was wet with some sticky liquid.
So in general avoid having Also carte when they serve buffet. Also since there was a function going on they deploy their best servers and waiters there, I guess. There was a lady who was serving that day and didn't have a clue of what was happening. She looked dressed like a receptionist or an office staff. I have a feeling that they sent the regular people for the function and put some office staff who don't have experience in the restaurant. If you're having buffet you can go there as you generally get to serve food yourselves and don't have to rely on...
