RAINBOW PALACE — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

19 April 2023 - I must say you are such a liar and a story maker. In the month of Feb I had called you a no.of times to do the booking much in advance but towards the end you changed your word and increased the rate the very day i was about to pay you the booking amount. Secondly, none of the kids are above 15 years, how can you cook up your own story to tell the world a lie in this review reply?? I'm glad that i didn't pay you the booking amount as you not only turned out to be greedy but your ways are also cunning and very unreliable!! Some home stays like yours sell out even the booked rooms at higher rates to others and deny the rooms to those who booked it. In such a case the state tourism hotels are the best reliable ones!

########### - 21st Feb 2023 BEWARE...I had discussed with the owner of Rainbow palace homestay about my family visit to his 2 star homestay a no.of times starting from 14th Feb'23. I shared with Mr. Mohammad my dates and family details and he said he would provide me with 2 rooms for 3000 since his room beds are not big enough to accommodate 2adults and 2kids in one room. I reluctantly agreed to stay in split rooms. He asked me for advance of 1000 to book the rooms which i agreed. Just yesterday as i was about to book train tickets and pay advance to Mr Mohammed i called him up. I was shocked to hear him say that he would charge me 6000 per day for that 2 star homestay thereby taking a U-turn on his words. I lost a lot of time in deciding with his hotel and now he turns around. I've found there are some hotel owners in Ooty like him who are money minded and despite of online booking through sites like Agoda these hotels have denied booking when people reached there and have sold those rooms at higher price to...

1.The Owner is very much friendly Breakfast is included in the cost and they made tasty South Indian Idli, Dosas with chutney & Sambar. The rooms are very neat and interconnected, suitable for people going in groups. Owner provided very soft and thick bed sheets suitable for the climate.(Hot water provided for 3 rooms at a time. ) 4..We were a group of 10 people, booked 5 rooms for 2 nights stay. HOT water for bathing shall be given as per requirement.Towels and soaps not provided; to be asked separately. 5.It is at a distance of 4 km from bus stand. Owner sent us the location on whatsapp. We were able to easily reach there by local buses(Fun city Bus Stop) in 15-20 min. 6.Its around 100-150m from funcity bus stop and Vehicle (Car/Innova) accessibility/ road is little difficult. Chocolate flavor tea powder is very much famous in ooty. The rainbow palace owner helped us in getting good quality one at reasonable...
