It's one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I am here for a business trip of four days, and this seemed like the best option around thane area. Although it was a huge mistake. Rooms: Rooms are small, like you would be surprised how small the rooms are (Which I am still fine with). Service: That's where they are not even matching with any non-branded hotel. Starting with breakfast, I had breakfast for 4 continuous mornings, not a single day went when I was able to get all the cutleries and napkins on the table. Things are still okay if fork or knife is missing, but every day they either missed on spoon, or glass to pour your water into, or tissues to ensure you don't get any food on your cloths. I Kept on asking them to bring me some spoon or tissues or glass, but they never returned. Coming to the In-Room dining, they server you in room dining as if you have ordered take-away food from an outside restaurant. You are brining food from one floor to another, why do you have to wrap it up in a cardbox box as if it's supposed to be delivered via swiggy/zomato. By the time it reaches your room, it get's soggy. Competency of waiters - Even if I ignore the first point where waiters were not bringing me cutleries, when it comes to a good hotel like IBIS, I expected a hassel free experience, which was never the case in ibis thane. Waiters were always there when you don't need them, and were always missing when you actually need them. Some of them felt like they just need to check the guests if the need anything only once, and then they can go back to their IPL betting. 24/7 dining? - They just server 2 dishes (one veg, one non-veg) from 11PM to 6PM, I mean atleast give an option to have tea/coffee at room during night. Food: Genuinely, revisit your menu. You are in Maharashtra, include some local dishes. Just putting bhaji on pao doesn't make it masala pao. I was completely disappointed with the available options we had in the menu. And they didn't had a single mocktail on the menu. What if I wish to explore some drink but don't want to have alcohol? Overall, the taste was honestly mediocre, I was just satisfied with the cleanliness, nothing else.
I seriously want IBIS/Accor management team to look into this, as this is not putting up a good image of their brand. I would...
