We went for a buffet option Limited Food options with good taste with high price. A single Buffet costed us 1700+ including 18% GST.
They offered, 1 sweet corn soup- 3/5 1 veg n 1 non-veg starters - 4/5 2 veg Gravies - 3/5 2 nonveg gravies - 3/5 Salad Shev Puri - 4/5 Papad - 3/5 Yogurt with watermelon- 3/5 Cereals - 3/5 Live counter for Pasta- 4/5 Chinese rice with some gravy -3/5 Gajar halva -2/5
Pretty basic menu for higher price. I wont recommend buffet at this price. But again considering spice it is a restaurant inside 4start hotel ibis, this is expected. With this I came to a point where people have mentioned in their comments that the food is bland. When we are in 4-5start hotels please don’t expect a desi meal. If your are fond of desi meal then 4-5star hotel’s restaurants is really not the place for you.
Ibis hotels is one of the famous chain. Location- 5/5 Food Quantity- 3/5 Food Quality-5/5 Taste -3/5 Ambience- 4/5 No loud creepy music
Its has grand interior and over all has feel good factor. Lobbies are well arranged.
Over all it was a good experience.

Spice It at ibis Thane is a delightful place to enjoy good food in a warm and welcoming environment. The restaurant has a stylish yet comfortable ambiance, perfect for both casual dining and special evenings.
The service is excellent – the staff is polite, attentive, and always ready to make the dining experience better. What stands out is the chef’s special dishes and the eagerness to customize them based on recommendations, which really makes the experience feel personal and thoughtful.
We tried a variety of dishes – from flavorful fried rice to perfectly grilled kebabs, crispy potato wedges, and refreshing chutneys – every item was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.
Overall, it’s a wonderful combination of nice service, nice environment, and good food. Definitely a place worth visiting again and...

We waited over an hour just to be served a basic Caesar salad. That alone set the tone for what was going to be a frustrating dining experience.
The Thecha Chicken was average at best — nothing to rave about. But the real disappointment came with the Butter Chicken Biryani. It was completely dry, lacked even basic masala or richness, and honestly, it didn’t even deserve to be called “Butter Chicken.” There was no flavor, no gravy, no soul. I’ve had more satisfying biryani from roadside stalls.
What’s even more surprising is that this food supposedly comes from a kitchen where Chef Sanjyot’s name is associated. I am sure he must be a fantastic chef, so either he wasn’t involved at all here, or the team running the kitchen seriously lacks basic culinary skills. It felt like a total mismatch between expectation and reality.
The service was equally poor, slow, inattentive, and clearly not bothered about the diners sitting in the restaurant. They seemed to prioritize in-house guests and takeaways over people dining in, which makes no sense for a place trying to build a reputation.
And honestly, looking at the 4+ star reviews online, I can’t help but question their authenticity. Either the day we visited was their worst ever, or those reviews are just paid promotions, because the reality didn’t match at all.
Not worth the hype, not worth the wait, and definitely not worth a...

The ambiance was Clean and Cozy ✨, and the staff was friendly and attentive 🤝. I ordered Sprite 🥤, Murg Tikka 🍗, Tandoori Naans 🍞, Steamed Rice 🍚, and Chicken Kadai 🍛. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, especially the Murg Tikka and Chicken Kadai – both were just Perfect 😋.
Service was prompt, and the portion sizes were satisfying ✅. The total bill came to ₹2,285, including service charge and GST 💰. The pricing is slightly on the higher side, but Worth it for the Quality, Taste, and Ambiance.
Highly recommend Spice It Restaurant for a pleasant dining experience in...
